I was on the fence about purchasing these Adhesive Shower Shelves (2 Pack). Mainly because 'adhesive' seems very permanent and/or NOT if the adhesive gives way. In other words, if the adhesive stops working there is NO way to re-install these shelves and you are left with the caddies by themselves to be used on the floor, shelf or cupboard. So far after having them installed for 4 days they have held up to 3 heavy shampoos WITH a pump. I am still afraid they will fall if we continue to use the pump so we do tend go hold the shampoo when pumping just in case. The adhesive part is separate from the caddy and it is a large piece of thin material with the plastic hooks attached. It is marked "UP" so you do not make the mistake of installing it upside down, that is a nice addition. The thin material is the one that has the adhesive and once on the wall you can add or remove caddies as needed. It is fairly easy to install. Just make sure the wall is clean and dry. I recommend installing the film WITH the caddy attached as you will have a better visual as to where and how the caddie will end up or mark it before installing. This avoids any mistake like putting the adhesive too close to the wall and then not being able to hang the caddy on it because the caddy is wider than the adhesive. This is a big CON because you ONLY get 1 shot at it. If you mess up, you won't be able to remove and reinstall. I am unsure how long it will last and how difficult it will be to remove the adhesive from the wall if needed. Product states using a blow dryer to remove it but I'm unsure you will be able to re-attach it. Once installed you should NOT place anything on it for 24hrs to allow the adhesive to take hold. Plastic caddy's are wide enough to hold large Shampoo bottles. They are also long enough to hold around 3. It states it can hold up to 13lbs so even 3 large shampoo bottles are way under the weight limit. Our shower previously had the metal wire frame type of shelves in it but they used the same type of adhesive pads to hold the shelves in place. Let me tell you, the adhesive for these things is amazing. It took a lot of work to get the old adhesive off the tiles of my shower so that I could put these new ones in place. I had to use a razor blade scraper and then some goo-gone to clean it completely. The adhesive pads for these new shelves feels to be the same. The key to installing these is prep work. Thoroughly clean the area that you want to stick them and then make sure you have a level line to align them on. Our shower has tiles that have grout lines that are level to the floor and ceiling so it was easy for me in that bathroom but the other shower that we put these shelves into is a preformed shower insert that is all one color. For that one, I simply used a dry erase marker and a bubble level to put a line where I wanted to attach the shelf. Once attached, I was able to clean off the line. Then simply set the shelves down on the adhesive mounting pads after they have "set-up" for 24 hours. I'm able to put three of the large sized pump shampoo bottles on a single shelf and easily pump shampoo without having to support the shelf. It will flex slightly due to the nature of the acrylic shelf material but it's not falling off the wall at all. It's great that you can remove the shelves from the mounting pads to clean them if needed and easily put them back on with the same sturdiness as you began with. And the great thing about the acrylic shelves is that they don't rust (which is why we needed to replace the old shelves to begin with). And the clear acrylic looks great in the shower too. It holds nicely , but if you make a mistake and try to take it off then it doesn’t work at all . Currently have only one on the bathroom wall holding up strongly, the other one is useless. So can’t move them even if I wanted to, not worth it in my opinion Read more

I have been using these to store shampoo and body wash with my loofa and wash rags. They went on easy with instructions on my glass shower walls. They have held up to hitting them with ,y head and shoulders and still holding strong. They hold a lot for the compact design and function way better than i could have expected.
