The EcoFlow Rapid Pro feels like someone took a traditional power bank, fed it protein powder, and reminded it that laptops exist. With 300W total output and a built-in 140W USB-C cable, it’s one of the few portable batteries that can actually keep up with modern laptops instead of just slowing their rate of death. The form factor is dense but manageable, and the build quality has that “EcoFlow appliance” feel—solid, squared, and ready for field use rather than Instagram unboxing videos. In real-world use, it behaves more like a mini DC power unit than a casual phone charger. It can top up MacBooks, portable workstations, high-draw tablets, and even beefier USB-C accessories without throttling or getting hotter than reasonable. The built-in cable is a quiet luxury—you don’t have to go digging for a 240W-rated cable—which is especially nice at job sites or when bouncing between systems. Runtime at 27650mAh isn’t magic, but the Rapid Pro is clearly optimized for power delivery rather than marathon endurance, and that’s the right choice for productivity gear. There are a few quirks. It’s heavier than you expect, it’s not something you want in your pocket unless you’re training for leg day, and some devices will draw at slightly reduced rates depending on port distribution. But for technicians, field work, travel days, and anyone juggling modern USB-C laptops, this is one of the rare power banks that doesn’t feel like a compromise. It gives you that “I can work anywhere for a while” safety net—and unlike lesser power banks, it actually means it. Pros • 300W total output can power real laptops, not just sip-charge them • Built-in 140W USB-C cable is extremely convenient • Solid, durable construction—field-friendly • Handles high-draw devices without thermal panic • Great for technicians, travelers, and remote setups Cons • Heavier and bulkier than typical power banks • Capacity is good, but not huge for the wattage it can output • High loads drain it quickly (expected for 300W class) • Overkill if you only charge phones or earbuds Read more
I bought this power bank mainly for travel and it works great. The fast charging is very noticeable and it charges my phone much faster than my old one. Besides, it comes with a portable type-C line so that I don't have to bring one. I also tried charging my laptop through USB-C and it worked perfectly. Very convenient to have and when I'm away from an outlet. Read more
amazing charger that lasts about 8 charges. The weight is about 3-4lbs and easy to carry. Unfortunately it doesn’t include a cord but it does come with a bag to fit the power bank. It’s very easy to use. It has multiple functions. I like the product overall. Read more
Worked great initially. But after a month or two of use, the built-in charging cable does not work unless tension on the retraction reel is maintained (when fully extended). It seems after using it for a couple months, the connection inside between the retractable cable and the device becomes loose. Additionally, it seems some firmware updates are needed in the future because charging speeds are not consistent/fully supported when and devices support all modes of PD. That being said, when it does work, it works really well to support the full 140 watt charging to compatible devices. Additionally, a feature I wasn't expecting that it does have, is pass-through charging. I've been able to consistently charge the device at 140 watt speeds while passing through up to 100 watts to my end device. The battery is a bit heavier than expected, but it's understandable given the rated capacity and the included retractable charging cable. At the time of purchasing it, the dock adapter that will charge this fastest was not available yet. Still waiting for EcoFlow to release the fast charger. UPDATE (changed from 2 stars to 4): EcoFlow support reached out to me and provided a refund for the defective power bank (just the internal cable was bad). Yet again, why I continue purchasing their products (I own some of their power stations as well). They follow through if there are any issues. Read more
Bought it as a back up for my work laptop and it supports like a champ. A little bit heavy but that speaks quality. Build, display and retractable type c cable are nice. Read more
The charging cable stopped working on day #2, essentially killing that USBC port. Cool power bank, but it's the most expensive one as well - I expect impeccable quality in this "luxury" price range. Read more
