Customers say
Customers find the mount well-built and easy to assemble. However, the clamp length receives mixed feedback, with one customer noting it has plenty of pressure while another finds it too short. Moreover, the overall quality gets mixed reviews, with several customers describing it as horrible.

Easy to assemble and well built. But the thin grip pad on the bracket that clamps down on the desk is too thin. I replaced it with 3-M grip pads and it locks in tight. They are about 3/16th thick. Any sticky backed anti-slip product should work as long as you can compress it onto your desk. It is nice and solid and doesn’t not twist while using. Read more
I tried setting this up with my Thrustmaster T300 but the metal that is supposed to hang onto the desk is so weak it couldn’t withstand the weight of the T300 so it bent.HORRIBLE QUALITY Read more

I dont have enough room for a wheel stand or full on rig setup, so I was thinking of building an extension off of my desk to put the wheel in a more comfortable position for driving Sims. So I started looking on Amazon and BINGO! Found this! My first take its exactly what I wanted, and the shifter add on was a bonus. I thought it would put the shifter to close to the wheel but once in my desk chair its pretty spot on for comfortability. The adjustability is great although a little awkward at first when getting initially set up. In my situation, I just needed the wheel and shifter OFF the desk and dropped down just a little bit for better monitor veiwing and it did just that. The overall construction is solid! Brackets are thick and probably slightly overkill, the holes for mounting the wheel and shifter are spot on, but all this satisfaction did come with some downsides... INCLUDED HARDWARE: it comes with all hardware to get going, even some extra bolts to bolt your wheel and shifter down. BUT the bolts to bolt down the sliding wheel plate, and the sliding clamp were to short. Instructions say "use included M6x10 bolts" but then the hardware bag with them is labeled "M6x8" and they only catch a couple threads on the slide nut. Wasn't a problem on the clamp slider but the wheel bracket slider only caught 1 thread and I actually stripped one when I did final adjustments. So I went to lowes and bought "M6x10" bolts and definitely caught more threads and worked out great. USABILITY: While I like this product, I was disappointed once finally in use. With the wheel and shifter attached it kinda has a "bounce" or give to it. I think its because the shifter is hanging off the side it puts more weight away from the single clamping point and tends to flex alot when in use. Especially if using Logitech shifter and you need to push down for reverse it flexs downward so much I feel like im bending the whole unit. Now with just the wheel on there is pretty solid, but with the shifter floating off to the side just makes everything so flexy. After about 30 min I ended up supporting the shifter side of the platform with a spare piece of wood and some quick clamps which satisfied me...but now its a awkward rigged set up LOL. Ill figure out something better to stabilize soon. My take: if you need it just for the wheel, its a bigger winner! If your planning using the shifter platform be prepared to stabilize it somehow. ALSO since its only mounted by a single clamping point, this is probably not suitable for the aggressive Sim driver. It can shift and move slightly from time to time, even being easy on it....and its clamped down HARD! I will still use it regardless untill im able to buy or build something else. Read more

The problem I've always had with my sim was that it takes an hour to setup or take down. Leaving it out just gets in the way. This is the perfect solution to my problem by mounting all of the steering hardware to one mounting point. It's durable enough to take rough races and mounts to just about any surface. It also has a cool red release handle like a mini bombardier release. Takes all the hassle out of setting up my simulator and is easy to stow away in a hall closet when not needed. Read more
After we moved, my son couldn’t use his Fury GT-EV3 racing wheel on the built-in desk—it just didn’t have the space or setup for it. This mount solved that problem. It clamps securely to the desk and holds the wheel steady while he plays Forza Horizon 5. He’s been able to get back into racing games without the wheel sliding or shifting. The mount feels solid, and setup was quick. It’s a simple, affordable way to make a tight desk space work for sim racing again. Read more
I own and have used a number of "sim pit" solutions from folding mounts for wheel & pedals all the way to full wrap-around solutions with seats, and the tried and true method of just attaching the wheel to the desktop. For heavily used multi-purpose desktops, this is a great option. Materials are sturdy and strong - as good as any mounting hardware I've used. I do wish the clamp had a bit more surface area. If I had a Fanatec and liked to crank up the torque, I'd worry about this one shifting. But, with my Logitech it works just fine. I'm impressed with how many different options it's drilled for - though it's worth noting that you'll need the original screws from your driving kit to secure your wheel/shifter as mine didn't come with screws for that purpose. (Most don't from my experience.) It goes together easily and is pretty self-explanatory. I like that they provide some options for the shifter - including the option to leave it off. (Which I do.) Honestly, it's a great bit of kit, and I do like it. The price point is probably fair, but it's hard knowing there are full systems for wheel and pedals for around $20 more. BUT, if you don't have the room for something like that and/or want something that is minimal and easy to pop on for a quick driving session then this definitely fits the bill. Can't go wrong IMHO. Concept is promising and my Logitec wheel and shifter fit pretty well. Mounting plates have lots of room for adjusting and pretty sturdy. Was surprised by the size of the package as I thought it would be bigger. All the hardware is included and instructions were easy to understand. Only complaint is that the grip pad on the upper bracket that holds onto the desk could be better. It lifted up and peeled back due to the vibration and movement from the wheel. A wider bracket or surface to distribute the weight of then various steering wheels could be very helpful as well. Like the idea that the plates have enough slots for adjustment and the plate for the shifter can be installed on either side for games that have a RHD (Right hand drive) vehicle. Overall pretty satisfied with the mount and sure that some improvements would make this awesome. Read more
