I'm 5 ft. 5 in. and weigh 175. The xl is perfect...loose enough to be comfortable yet not overwhelming. The length hits me just below the knee. It's a very soft jersey material with a nice amount of stretch. There were some comments regarding the weight of the robe. It is light weight, but that’s what I wanted. It's tightly woven and I don't notice any sheerness. The package was delivered about an hour ago so I haven’t laundered it yet and can't speak to that aspect, but I see no reason why it wouldn't launder well. I do most clothing laundry in cold and always use a color catcher sheet for several washings of each item so I don't expect dye bleeding to be an issue. I like this robe so much that I promptly ordered another one in a different color/pattern to take advantage of the last Prime Day! Additional information: I now have 2 of these robes and have laundered both several times. They washed beautifully in cold water. I dried them on low. I didn't have any fading or shrinkage on either robe. Think I'll pick up a 3rd one! Read more

Bought this for my elderly mom. She is very picky about what she likes and doesn’t like. I could not find another one like her old one that she loves. I bought this fully expecting her to find something wrong with it but she loves it. She wants me to order more. It is soft and great material for Texas winter and summer. I am happy with the style, roominess, comfort of this gown purchased for my post operative recovery. Only complaint is that it was not at all colorsafe and bled quite a bit of blue dye into my washer even on cold only, gentle wash. I have to wash it alone even on the second , third cold washes for it continues to bleed navy blue into the water. So be careful with laundering it. Read more
