I should start by saying this is my favorite sleepwear company. I’ve ordered about a dozen nightgowns and muumuus from them and their quality is always first rate and true to size, so I had no hesitation ordering this cute robe. This is an adorable spring robe. I love the puppy paws. Too cute. It’s very lightweight and roomy. It has a lightweight zipper too that feels right with this garment. Not too heavy or bunchy. The zipper is double stitched and well placed. The trim is also double stitched and neatly finished. I love the short sleeves! I’ve never had a short sleeve robe, so I never wear robes in warmer weather. This will be a great addition to my work-from-home wardrobe, since I typically work in shorts and a tank top with no bra, which means no walking outside to check the mail or let my dog out without putting on a bra or a different top. This robe will be so handy to slip on over my skimpy shorts and tank top to run out to the mailbox or whatever. That may sound like not a big deal, but larger-chested ladies will understand. I’m only 5’1” and this robe lands about mid-shin on me. I ordered the XXL because I like robes big. Also, it has deep pockets! My iPhone fits in them. The pockets are side seam pockets and stitched well also. This brand is always true to size and a little roomy, which is what you want in sleep/loungewear. Another thing is washing. While I never put things with zippers in the dryer, I can’t say whether this would shrink in the dryer, but not of the other garments I’ve purchased from this brand have shrunk in the dryer. I wash everything in cold water and this is completely colorfast in cold, as have been all of their garments. I would definitely recommend this robe. Because it has a zipper up the front, this short sleeved bathrobe is easy on & off, so it’s especially convenient for slipping on after a shower. Others might relate to the issue I have with my face perspiring while trying to apply my makeup or when I’m styling my hair, which is when I become most uncomfortably hot. I’m happy and relieved that I found this. I’ve been looking for a comfortable, lightweight robe for spring and summer that has a zipper, rather than snaps. This one works brilliantly for me! It features side seam pockets and they’re a real bonus! It has a lightweight plastic zipper closure, as is apropos for this type of garment, and it’s attached with tight, even stitches. So far, it pulls smoothly in both directions with no hitches. The advanced fabric is designed to pull sweat away and speed evaporation to keep you dry. That’s a claim I’ve heard before about many types of apparel but this one actually lives up to that promise! Blessed relief! It’s polyester with 4% spandex to give it a soft stretch that’s gentle to skin. A narrow diagonal strip of decorative lace nicely accents each side of the zipper at the chest area. Running just below that are 3 small pleats, adding an artistic touch. It’s loose-fitting, but not oversized, and comes in a wide variety of solid colors/patterns. In the absolute best sense this is the updated version of grandma's snap up house dress. You remember the one she wore in the morning making breakfast? Well, maybe yours didn't but mine did. This reminds me of that but it is very much that in the best possible, updated, modern way. The material is still polyester but this isn't your grandma's polyester. It isn't heavy and rough in any way. This is soft and silky and feels amazing on the skin while still feeling substantial. It isn't that yellow, peach, and blue pastel either. The colors and patterns are vibrant and rich. There are still some lighter and softer colors available but there are also brighter or dark colors and black which definitely feel more sophisticated. The zipper though that kind of does it for me. I don't know why I like the zipper so much better than the old snaps but I do. I think it looks better. It feels more secure. I guess it's just a preference. I love to wear this on cool morning to have early coffee or on the weekends when I want to make breaks before I get myself together for the day. It really will do anything you would wear a robe for usually though and be warm or cool depending on your need and what you wear it with. My wife absolutely loves this Ekouaer Zipper Robe, and I’m really glad I requested it for her from Amazon Vine. As soon as she tried it on, she commented on how soft and lightweight the fabric feels.
