Purchased this unit as a travel version of my favorite desktop mouse, the Logitech M570... At first the price threw me a bit. But I figured with Amazon, I could always return it if I wasn’t satisfied... What I was looking for was a mini-version that would fit more conveniently in a small bag with a laptop or tablet. First of all the build quality is AMAZING!!! It is so far Superior to the Logitech, or the old Microsoft mouse I learned on, it’s not even funny! It is actually a Japanese designed product (although it’s made in China like everything else these days…) when I first opened it and saw how small it was I was extremely happy that it will be very packable, although I was also worried that it might not fit the hand very well- the ball is so much smaller than on the Logitech. But the ergonomics are absolutely fantastic!!! The keys are silent- no ”clacking”, and the track ball is so smooth there is no other comparison! Absolutely seamless operation with MacBook Air and iPad Pro… (on the IPad it worked immediately! The only issue I had was needing to download a driver-only needed to customize keys for the laptop- challenging until I used the name printed on the mouse, “Bitra”, “Elecom” can also be searched as it is apparently the company that is handling US marketing. Also the direction of the scroll-wheel is opposite out of the box from the one I learned on, but finding the “Natural” scrolling direction toggle on Apple products and turning that off immediately restored it to “the right way“!) Comes with an extremely well-made case, which I replaced as it was too large for putting in a small bag- but it would make a great storage or shipping case. So satisfied- I seriously don’t think I will ever use the larger version of this mouse ever again as long as this one is available!!! Worth every penny! If you’re like me and can’t see moving your hand around on a desktop like an idiot and Have gotten accustomed to this style of mouse don’t hesitate to purchase!!!👍😁 Read more

Great size and convenient for travel. Even with my long fingers I don’t have much trouble using it. For the most part it works fine, it always connects without any problems, however it will occasionally jump across the screen so not completely reliable. Read more

**************** Edited *************** The size is ideal, smallest track ball mouse I have ever had. However, it feels rather light and cheap and the number one pet peeve is that the roller ball is cheap and doesn’t work well at all. It’s is really really bad compared to other mouse with trackballs I have in comparison. You cannot program the buttons to your custom preference. ************* Updated *************** I am bumping my review up to five stars because of the prompt and professional customer service they displayed with my complaints. Firstly, I was incorrect about not being able to program the buttons how you see fit. They reached out and provided me with the correct links. Secondly, they sent out a replacement mouse because I was having issues with the trackball. That shows me that they have integrity and really do want to provide a product to be proud of. This roller ball seems much smoother than my initial one and being given those links is everything for me. So I appreciate it and I am five out of five content with my order. Read more

I've taken to using a trackball a few months ago. Unfortunately, most, if not all of them, are very big. Too big for me, but it still works. I just wish I could find a smaller one (I've always used a small mouse, my last one was the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S). But that also means traveling with my current mouse (Logitech MX Ergo) is out of the question - it's big and heavy. Enter this little mouse. I just came back from a 2-months trip oversees where I used it exclusively, on a Windows 11 laptop, so I feel like I can review it now. + Size! It's very small and very light. Easy to pack in any bag. + Size! Again! I love that I was able to use it easily in the plane (in Economy) by just putting it on my lap. + Connecting it to my laptop was easy. + It works. Never had a problem. - The main issue is the trackball. It's not tight so it always move around a little. Maybe just a millimeter in every direction, but that's enough to impact accuracy and comfort, and to make the whole thing feel flimsy. This is my main issue. - The software. It may be good, or it may not. I don't know. It's in Japanese. I was able to customize the important stuff like pointer speed and a couple buttons, but I didn't dare go farther than that. Overall I really like this mouse and I'm keeping it, but I'll use it exclusively when travelling. Honestly, were it a little less flimsy, were the ball better set, and the software not in Japanese, I would have considered using it as my daily driver. Read more

The small size of this mouse is good for me. However the roller-ball movement is too choppy, making fine control over the pointer impossible. If you want to interact with something on the screen that requires you to click in a very small area, this mouse will make it hard to do so. The pointer gets very near what I want to click on and then stops moving, and I have to force the ball really hard to get the pointer moving again, at which point the pointer blows past the thing I wanted to click on. I've had mice that start exhibiting this behavior after a year or two of use, but I've never seen it with a brand new mouse. I used the mouse for only a few hours last night, and my wrist and hand were exhausted and painful from "fighting with" the mouse the whole time. Very disappointed, returning for a refund. Back to ordering the Nakabayashi Digio2 Trackball - it's more expensive and only lasts a year or two, but at least it works at first! Read more
