This is the coolest thing
I picked up this lighter mostly because I was tired of burning through those cheap gas ones. Right away the champagne gold color stood out since it looks a bit fancier than it really is. The USB-C charging is super handy and it actually charges quick. The little LED battery display is a nice touch too so I know when it is about to die. No more guessing if the flame is going to go out mid candle. Using it is pretty simple. You slide the safety switch and hit the button, then the little electric arc pops up. It is windproof so I tried it outside and it worked fine even with a breeze. It does make a small zapping sound though which is kind of funny but also a little weird. Still beats burning my thumb on those old school lighters. The long neck makes it easy to reach into candles or the grill without getting too close. I like that part a lot because I always used to tilt regular lighters and end up with black soot on my fingers. Only thing is the safety switch takes a second and feels a bit stiff. Not a deal breaker but worth mentioning. Overall it is a cool little gadget that works the way it should. It saves money since you do not have to keep buying disposable lighters and it looks nicer sitting in a drawer. It is not perfect but for candles, BBQs, or camping, it is way better than the cheap ones I was using before. Definitely glad I grabbed it. Read more
