You just fill it up with water, and there are the different speeds/intensities. It is very handy and portable, which is nice compared to the big machine they have used before at the doctor's office.The water pressure in Soft mode is incredibly gentle. The nozzle has a safety stop so you can't go too deep. My ears feel clean and refreshed without any pain. Highly recommend for anyone with sensitive ears! This is something I never imagined I would own, but so glad that I do. It is a well made product. It comes put together, you only attach the nozzle and tip pieces. It comes with manual, usb cord, attachment pieces, and water catcher for holding at your ear. It has a power button and mode button for the multiple modes. Pulse, soft, strong, and diy option are all easy to understand and choose. I originally did soft, as this was my first time. It feels a little strange at first. I moved up to strong and It really cleaned my ears out. It really felt like I could hear better. The water area is small, but it's easy to add more if needed.
