I just received this heater to help warm up my unheated basement, and it's amazing! It looks great and I love the fireplace feature. I've had regular heaters before and they are boring, just functional looking at best. But this heater has a great style and the fireplace feature is super fun. There's some mechanism inside that makes the lights flicker like a real flame, so it's fun to watch. It's also just the right size. Large enough to be very sturdy and to see the flame effect from anywhere in the room, but small enough to fit anywhere I want to put it. And light enough to carry to another room if I want. The blue color is nicer than I thought it would be. It adds a little color, but is fairly neutral so it goes with the rest of the room pretty well. We are allowed to use space heaters at work as our offices are cold. We have some, but I wanted the cozy ambiance of a fireplace, but didn't want anything too large, so I bought this as it had some good reviews. I was not disappointed. I like that it has two power settings, 1000 and 1500W. I only use the lower setting. You also have a "temperature" setting button, from little to high. You can use it with or without the heat. I start out with the heat, but when my office warms up, I just turn it to the "flame" setting with no heat. I went and bought a little wireless blue tooth speaker and stream crackling fireplace sounds through it, so it really has a nice effect. Everyone likes to hang out in my office now...lol. I ordered this heater for my daughter's room that's constantly colder than the rest of our house and was a little apprehensive that it would actually work well. I was pleasantly surprised! My daughter's room warmed up quickly and she loves the look of the unit. It's also great because we have dogs that like to run through things, and the unit shuts off automatically the few times they've knocked it over. It makes her room look and feel very cozy. So much so that I now need to purchase one for my other daughter's room, who's been asking for her own since seeing her sister's unit. Great heater for a great price! Read more

I got mine just in time for a rare Ohio blizzard last week, and now there's a second round of snow coming. I usually hate snow days (winter in general?), but this portable fireplace has gotten me through it! It's quite a stylish design and as far as fake fireplaces go, they did a pretty good job with the look of the fire itself. I'm using it mainly in my office, which is a small room and runs much colder than the rest of my house. It has helped to keep the room heated while I'm there. If you have a large room, you may need to get a stronger/larger space heater. Read more

I have a smaller Govee that has been the best, heating up my 10x10 office quickly. This heater is almost as good. The heat itself is a hair less hot, but the forced air is stronger. So much so that I need to point this heater away from me, or else it really warms up under the desk, too warm. It's pretty strong. Perhaps the bigger size, maybe has a bigger fan. The warm air is pushed out very well. The thermostat has much to desire. It ran for 2 hours in the office before realizing the desired temperature was reached. Of course, it just a set of dots, you'll need an actual thermometer to gauge which dot represents what temperature. My other heater reaches the desired temperature faster, and maintains it more accurately. The flame effect is very nice, pleasing. The build feels solid. The blue color and leather handle makes it very stylish. It's a space heater that really warms up a room, and looks good to boot. Just wish the thermostat worked better. Read more

Nice little space heater/fireplace (+ambiance). Chose this for a corner basement and nest area where a stray cat had her kittens. I run it on a lower heat setting and speed at a distance and amazed how it warms up almost the entire basement plus quiet! Very happy with purchase and exactly what I needed. Almost spent more on a larger electric fireplace unit, before finding this spiffy little sweetheart!
