I needed this to work on a toe that had become spontaneously and grievously wounded due to my growing Type II diabetes. I didn’t even do anything to hurt it, for cryin’ out loud!!! Ya gotta be smart, face reality and take care of these things- like RIGHT NOW! Otherwise, it can lead to amputated toes and other fondly held appendages! 'They' don't often talk about that (I don't know why!) but it is VERY common nowadays with the growing obesity and unhealth of us Americans! By the way, -Thank You so much, Bobby Kennedy-, for devoting your life to fixing chemical agriculture, pharmaceutical abuse and the broken health care system!!! (To be fair, there are also many wonderful things about modern science and medical care- but ya gotta think for yourself and not take EVERYTHING on its face!) I had no idea Bobby Kennedy was such a wonderful human being! I have been enlightened! Check out his YouTube channel to behold some AMAZING information! I KNOW that this would have SURELY ended up in amputation had I not handled it. It was ridiculously bad! I don't know about you, but I'm not a huge fan of amputation! I've even heard of a doctor who was in denial about his diabetes and lost a FOOT to the insidious condition! His own nurse relayed that unbelievable tale to me! So, NONE of us are immune to denial. Even doctors! Pay attention Pilgrim! I went to the foot doctor and besides antibiotics, salves and other devices of cruelty, (Heh) they used a similar device as this sander on every visit to pare down the calluses and shedding nastiness of my toe. I have the before picture and I still can’t really believe it! It’s too gross to upload here. ‘They’ would probably DELETE it! I now use this little sander very successfully for regular maintenance. I also went to an MD and was prescribed insulin (my blood sugar was ridiculously high) which has allowed the toe to REMAIN healed and has resulted in numerous other lovely benefits. The needles are tiny nowadays and you don’t even feel it. I actually enjoy injecting myself twice a day because I have experienced all the benefits. They also gave me a thing that attaches to the back of my arm (outa sight and outa mind) and has a little wireless device (like a mini cellphone) that tells me my blood sugar just by pressing a button. No more finger pricks to read blood sugar and I can check it quickly, anytime during the day which is so cool. It’s called a Dexcom and Medicare completely covered it! But it’s still worth it even if you have to pay through the nose. There are other programs to help pay for it too… Just ask. But anyway, this sander is pretty quick and powerful (be careful!) and I highly recommend it!!! Of course, this is also a MARVELOUS and quick tool to pare down ordinary calluses and corns too!!! Much faster than standing uncomfortably in the shower and sanding ad-infinitum with one of those files! Now I just recline on the couch and sand quickly every once in a while. I can honestly say that this little sanding device has made my life better! Cheers and stay positive!!! Read more

Directions say charge before use, I did not do that- I went straight to tackling the calluses that proved too time consuming for my regular manual pumice stone. I think it went for maybe 10/15 min and I just stayed on the medium file on what was definitely a rough file kind of job and was amazed by how well it still worked! My calluses have calluses so I did finally switch to the rough file and it’s cutting thru the tough skin even better. When I first started this my calluses were so thick I couldn’t even feel the vibration of the roller unless I was it the thin arch of my foot- now I can feel it a bit on my heels so it’s definitely doing a lot! Functionality wise, it’s an acceptable learning curve for $20- if it thinks it’s getting caught in skin it’ll stop. It doesn’t do well with angles and will stutter if you go too against the roller or if you use too much force. Just go along the way that doesn’t hiccup and just skim it along your feet. Read more

It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I was expecting to be able to stop it spinning by pushing hard but it keeps going. Read more

I have a 18 month old daughter and I found pregnancy and then mom life change my feet for the worse. My feet were so dry, cracked and just gross old lady feet. We are going on vacation and I have a biopsy on my lower leg that would prevent me from treating myself to my first post pregnancy pedicure, so out of shame for my dragon feet I purchased this. My feet are so smooth! They feel great. With that being said the battery dies very quickly, but you are able to use this while plugged in. But I do not regret this purchase yet, and even if it dies on me in the next few months it served its purpose today. I wish I would have taken before and after photos. I did follow up my treatment with a OTC foot hydration mask.. my feet are ready. Read more

I really like this tool. It's easy to use and super effective, my feet are baby soft. It also comes with a convenient draw string carrying pouch that holds all its components like file cartridges and charging cord. My complaints are that it really doesn't hold much of a charge at all. I don't expect to get days out of it but unfortunately even if I start on a full charge, I do end up having to charge it up at least once during one pedicure which is a little inconvenient. I also find it a bit ridiculous that the entire unit is $26 and a set of 3 replacement file cartridges for it is $18. That is going to make it really hard to justify keeping it around when replacement files are nearly as expensive as buying the whole tool brand new was! So for these reasons, 3 stars. Read more

I walk a lot so my feet are always doing something weird. About a year ago I noticed a rough patch of skin on the outside of my foot near my big toe. It was just hanging out, never bothered me but did slowly get bigger. I’ve tried to file it with a pumice stone, soaked it, file it, pick at it but nothing ever came close to working. Last night I decided to go on the hunt for another option and I came across this. I looked at the reviews and most of them were pretty positive. I figured for the price it couldn’t hurt to try. It got delivered this afternoon and I immediately turned it. There wasn’t a huge charge but enough to last about 10 minutes. Within 2 that bad boy was 80% gone. It took a few more minutes to get the rest of it. I will say there is a hint of it still but I’m hoping with lotion and this guy a few more times it’ll be gone. It also didn’t hurt at all. Could bc bc the thing didn’t hurt but either way it was basically painless. I’m glad I bought this! Read more
