Good for the price
It's relatively quiet, it's lightweight for its size & power, and it more or less does a good job. I got it specifically to reduce edges from 20 to 15 degrees, and although it took a little time, it worked. If you also have a rough stone, you might want to do some preliminary reduction using the stone, but that's not absolutely necessary. Given the configuration of the sharpening slots, it will not sharpen the last inch or so next to the bolster. I've only used it for chef's knives and a longish utility knife, not sure how well it would do for paring knives. Read more
Very high quality
This sharpener renewed my damaged blades dulled badly by a magnetic knife holder, rolling sharpener disc sharpener in 3 swipes. My 12 knives for every purpose are as sharp and slick as my new Japanese knife. No sawing through meat, bread, fruits vegetables. The sharpening slot that guides blade does sharpen both sides during one swipe. Professionals obviously designed and perfected this tool. I do not anticipate ever needing a replacement because of quality, design and knife type versatility. Read more
Simple, easy and effort less sharpening in 3 steps
The media could not be loaded. I really impressed with my upgrade from manual to this electric sharpener. it is very fast and its dual blade is really works well to make knife very sharp in just few seconds, which is helping to cut vegetables without too must force and efficiently.
