I ordered this cordless electric rechargeable heated lunch box for my son who is always on the go. He loves to meal prep, so I thought this would be the perfect addition to his process, as he doesn't always have time to microwave his food (or doesn't have access to one). Both the unit, and accompanying carrying case arrived in pristine condition, and offer a great gift presentation. Upon opening, there was no off-putting or chemical scents, and the colors appeared to be just like the listing photos. The thermal bag looks really nice, it zips open and closed from the top, and has 3 pockets. There is a back open pocket, a mesh side drink holder pocket, and a front zipper pocket. Both zippers easily opened and closed, and the unit fits inside without impeding the additional designated space. The silverware was a lot nicer than I expected. They have a good, quality weight to them, are very shiny. The design is attractive. The silverware compartment was a little catchy and not easy to open it first, but it's gotten easier with use. The lid has a silicone gasket that seals the heat in, and features a vent, (pressure release valve), that also serves as a reminder of which day you packed it by an adjustable arrow that points to Monday through Sunday. The food tray is very large, and can accommodate multiple foods simultaneously and includes a food partition. The partition doesn't seal to the sides or bottom (it just feels like hard plastic), so it's not going to prevent sauces from seeping in to either side. My only critique so far, is that the buttons are dark and hard to read, if you aren't in great lighting. The digital displays are very easy to see. The instructions were easy to read and straightforward. My son has loved that he can pre program it to be ready whenever he plans on eating, and adjust the keep warm setting since he often eats between activities. So far it's held up amazingly well, and it has adequately heated his food every time, and hasn't run out of battery during the process (he charges it in between).
