I bought this to shave my head. I have a Viking style haircut so I just have the sides of my head shaved but I like to keep it as short as possible. I tried this so my wife didn't have to take care of my hair every 2 weeks and it does work, sort of. Maybe it's because my hair grows in 7 directions at once but it takes this thing forever to cut just the sides and back of my head. Granted it's not advertised to cut hair on your head. I read the reviews but this is not a good shaver. I used it for 4 months and it stopped shaving well because the blades got clogged up with no way to clean them. The blades do not come out in this model. The battery only supported about 5 shaves before needing charging. Charging on the stand is very intermittent.
