I simply place it on my head, applying a light pressure to ensure the rubber feet secure a good grip. Then, I let it move naturally backward towards my neck. I keep repositioning it until my entire scalp and neck are covered. Since I have long hair, I occasionally lift the massager to prevent it from getting tangled. This massager comes with two different styles of rubber feet. It automatically turns off after 10 minutes. Initially, I thought its battery life was quite short, but I realized I could simply turn it back on if I wanted to continue the massage. This 10-minute session is a safety feature to prevent scalp damage. Please don’t exceed the 10-minute massage limit on the same skin area, as it could cause scalp irritation. The massager also includes EMS micro-current, red light and vibration. The on and off button is a multi-purpose button. By holding it down for 2 to 3 seconds, you can turn it on or off. If you double-click it, it activates the infrared light. Once the massager is turned on, this button also controls the speed, which I believe has three settings.
