The media could not be loaded. This is the very first adjustable rising desk I ever purchased/owned and I couldn't be any more satisfied. Assembly is not difficult at all, although the instructions could have been a bit more clear & detailed. It is very quiet when raising/lowering desk. I put it together by myself but I would recommend having one other person to help. Only upsetting thing is an error on my part. I purposely purchased a desk with a monitor riser. However, I did not take into account that my duel monitor arm mount would not properly mount with the riser assembled. So, unfortunately I had to remove the entire riser which really bothers me being I just love how it looks with a monitor riser and not to mention I can't install and utilize the two draws. Like I said though, that's an error on my part and not the company. All in all I love my new desk and would recommend to anyone looking to have a nice clean and sturdy adjustable rising desk! I decided to get this electric standing desk because of ongoing back issues that sometimes require me to stand while working on my computer. Being able to easily switch between sitting and standing throughout the day has made a noticeable difference in my comfort level. The height adjustment works smoothly and it allows me to find a position that feels right whether I am typing or using my mouse. I chose the desk in the black color. It looks very sleek and modern, but because it is black, fingerprints show up something terrible. They do wipe off easily, but to me it sometimes creates the sense that the desk looks dirty even when it is clean. That has been my main complaint about the finish. Assembly took me roughly 2 1/2 hours to complete. The user manual is mostly pictures with minimal words, so be sure to follow along closely with the photos and pay attention to detail. Also pay close attention to the parts list because there is no labeling on the desk parts themselves. The only labeling is on the hardware and those are marked with letters. You will need a drill, but you will not realize that until around page 5 of the instructions, so it is helpful to have one ready. You will also need a screwdriver to attach the cable ties and for connecting the bolt screw assembly. There are no premade screw holes for the cable ties, so you will need to create them. There is a light strip included, which is a really fun feature. It comes with a remote and has several cool lighting options. Make sure you place the strip on the correct side because it will need to plug into the power strip that you attached earlier in the set up. The wire slot has to be manually bent, but it was not difficult to do. Putting on the wool felt can be a bit of a challenge if you were assembling the desk alone, but it can definitely be done. My best advice is to check and double check the pictures to make sure all pieces are facing the correct direction as you assemble. The drawers are fabric, which is perfectly fine for storing pens, pencils, sticky notes, and other small desk items. The desk has a nice width and length with plenty of room for a computer set up and accessories. I also really appreciate the side hooks, which are great for headphones or small bags. This could also work well as a gaming desk. Overall, I am satisfied with the look and functionality of this desk and it has been a helpful addition to my workspace. This would make a great addition for anyone setting up a home office, student workspace, or gaming area. Read more

Assembly was of moderate difficulty - all pieces fit as they should and were easily identified, (the instructions could use a little more detail, but are otherwise adequate). The framework is sturdy and nicely finished. The work top did have some chips or dings that don't appear to be shipping related (otherwise this desk would have definitely rated 5 syars). When complete, the desk functions quietly and smoothly and is sturdy even at its tallest, standing position.
