These OTC hearing aids provide an incredible value for the cost. I really enjoy using them everyday, and I can't imagine going back to not using them. This is my second set of OTC hearing aids, and the first time I've spent this kind of money out of pocket. The value they provide is very high for what they are. These are actual hearing aids, not just sound amplifiers. The settings are very adjustable for individual needs, like changing the sound input from 360° to front facing only, which is very handy and crowded places like restaurants so you don't have to listen to the people behind you at another table talking. The noise suppression algorithm does work very well what's your brain gets used to this particular systems operation. I like the ability of the app to control different aspects of the hearing aids, like setting up generalized settings for different places like home, office, outside, crowded places etc. The battery life on these units usually lasts me all day from around 7:00 in the morning until 10:00 at night before I start getting battery low notifications. Throughout the day, I routinely stream music for 3 hours on average. I also take approximately 30 minutes to an hour of phone calls everyday. These hearing aids do have the ability to allow sound to come through while you're using the bluetooth, or to turn the ambient sound off and listen to Bluetooth only. Pairing with the phone is very easy. The study guides and user instructions are very clear and allow you to learn to use your hearing aids over time. If you're a more seasoned user of OTC hearing aids, it can be a little annoying on the instruction side of things, but I understand why they do it the way they do. This unit does not have specific frequency adjustment for individual users, but it does have a hearing test that I assume does change the profile based on the test results. But there's no way to manually adjust any specific frequency that I have found. These hearing aids are very clear, and the ability to discern voice from ambient noise is very good for the cost of these units. using the appropriate ear domes and ear dome design is of great importance. You may have to play around with dome size or open versus closed domes in order to get the best results for you. I wasn't a big fan of receiver in ear before, but I am now. I don't ever really want to go back to air tubes. These units are a hair wider than the previous brand I used, but I also wear prescription eyeglasses daily and they fit comfortably. I do wish that the stems had the little leg that goes out and keeps it more firmly planted in your ear, but that's a minor issue for me. They are very lightweight and compact and I find them to be very comfortable and I usually forget that I'm wearing them until bedtime. I don't really have any other issues with these because they are so adaptable and I really enjoy being able to stream audio and phone through them reliably and consistently. The Bluetooth range is approximately 30 ft and walk away and still be able to stream to the hearing aids. The charger case allows for at least three full charges before it needs a charge itself. The provided ear domes are also a good fit for this device, and you can always use aftermarket ear domes if necessary. I really like these hearing aids, and if I can catch them on sale, I'll probably buy another set in the future as a spare to keep in the car. Read more

I decided to try otc aid before buying expensive prescription aids. Glad I did. For the price these are very effective and I would recommend them to anyone that is trying to boost their hearing on a budget. Read more
Took me awhile to get the aids balanced and set. The programmed hear test and set up is wonderful. Set the aids perfect. I noticed a big difference in waring them. I can after years of not hearing very well. I was driving to work and turned on my blinker. I’m like what’s that noise???? It’s my blinkers. OMG I never knew it made any noise. Another thing I noticed was my car sound system is set to surround sound. I always hear stereo thinking it never worked. Well the surround sound system does work and it’s wonderful to be able to hear it. My meetings are very good now, not asking to repeat it say I didn’t fear that. I can now hear my GF talk in BG to me without straining to try to read lips. The aids fit perfect, the ear pieces fit snug and tight in the ear cannel. I’m just very impressed with these aids it’s just fantastic in what I’m hearing now. Read more
This is a basic amplifier - not a true hearing aid. The sound quality is very “tinny” and “staticy” . When you turn the volume up (to be able to actually hear anything) it just amplifies everything to the point that I couldn’t even eat because the chewing noise in my head was so loud ! And the adjustments basically do nothing except make EVERYTHING louder - like hair brushing against the hearing aid behind my ear caused a constant whoosh whoosh noise. Also the size of these hearing aids (the part that goes behind your ear) is about twice the size of a professional level hearing aid and feels very uncomfortable to wear. My husband wears medical level hearing aids - which cost about 10x as much as these and are about 1/3 the size, but the difference with a true hearing aid is worth the money. Wearing these hearing aids was uncomfortable and the sound quality was extremely poor. They got sent back. Read more
Tried several OTC aids. These are the best by a long shot. The Bluetooth connection is superior to the rest. The sound quality is great. I tried the translation routine and it was right on! There was some feedback coming from my right aid, but by reducing the volume a tad, the feedback stopped. So that's a trade off. The only other negative is concerning the tinnitus feature. I have tinnitus in just my right ear. To use the hearing aid's tinnitus support, it only works with both ears. Maybe that will improved in the future. I spend a good part of my day with a set of headphones mixing music. There is no feedback while wearing the headphones. Several of other brands that I've tried had apps with more options tweaking up to 8 frequencies. This one had only one slider to add or reduce brightness. (Treble). It's simpler. It comes with 4 preset modes that can be edited, but what separates this from others is that you can create and add a few of your own modes. I also did try a pair that looks like ear buds. They stick out because they are big they also fall out of the ears.. and the ones I tried plugged my ears and were extremely uncomfortable. They were also difficult to connect to a phone. If only I tried these before all the others, there wouldn't be others. You can find aids for under $200. Don't waste your money. Get these. Read more
