Generous sizing. I went with 3XL based on size chart. I am 5'10", long torso, hourglass shape, size 18/20. I could have most likely gone with a 2X. This fits loose and looks frumpy on me as it skims over everything with no definition. I dont do belts, so I may try pinning it to take it in a just a little at waist. Clothes that dont show my waist end up looking frumpy. That is how I feel in this. I opted not to wear it to an outdoor summer occasion because of that. I do think it is attractive, comfortable, and I like that is has pockets. If I cant get it to look good on me, then it will make a nice summer lounger. I really liked this little summer dress, and I got it for a quick around the house, errand dress- although the material and print are very nice that this would also make a very nice vacation dress. It’s a little on the short side for me, so I do wear little shorts under it (though I am old, so I think younger people would find the length more to their liking and preferred!). I also found it a little tight around the underarms, which made it a little uncomfortable. I think this may be because the front of the dress is higher and not a scoop or lower neckline. If I was buying again I would size up. I may have just needed a bigger size, and that’s on me. Otherwise, the dress is very flowy, it washes nice and held its shape. It does not cling at the waist or to any trouble areas. The fabric is soft and has a vibrant print that has held up over many washes. My daughter steals this all the time and she is 5’3, 170 pounds and it seems to fit her better than me (5’4, 220 pounds). I took a pick of the higher under arm for reference.
