Elevation Pillows for Leg After Surgery Memory Foam Adjustable Leg Wedge Pillow for Injury or Rest Ankle Pillow

This elevation pillow was a life saver for my elderly mom after she broke her hip, and I'm convinced it's the reason she did so well in her recovery. Once mom got to rehab, her bed wasn't ideally adjustable so they were using pillows to keep her leg elevated to reduce swelling. The problem with that is they were always put under her foot/ankle, which would give her horrible knee pain and put pressure on her heel. This smartly graduated/sloped elevation pillow completely alleviated her knee and heel pain, allowing her to use this comfortably all night long, and reduce her swelling very quickly. The way this pillow slopes up supports the thigh and knee, and then it curves down a bit at the heel so it doesn't flex the knee backwards or put pressure on the heel. The design really is genius, and even smarter is where they placed the handles, allowing the user to adjust to their comfort without moving much. The adjustable height is nice, but mom never used it -- she kept it high the entire 3mos in rehab and loved it -- and the covers zip off easily to wash. I washed the top cover many times for her, and it always went right back on with no shrinking or fraying. Neither myself nor mom noticed any strong chemical odors from the memory foam insert, and nothing bothered her super sensitive skin. This is a great product I would buy again and again. Read more

I both this for my husband who had foot surgery. He had a big, bulky walking boot on 24/7 and had to keep his foot/leg elevated most of the time for several weeks. I like that the height can be easily adjusted by removing the bottom layer (just two velcro straps attaching it to the upper layer). It also has two hand grips near the top that allows for easy maneuvering without having to move the leg out of the pillow. The concave sides ensure that the foot doesn't slip or roll off to the side - a problem with using a stack of pillows. Convenient side handles allow you to easily move it from room to room. I highly recommend this elevation pillow for anyone, surgery or not, who needs to keep their foot raised. Works well in bed as well when you are required to sleep with your leg elevated. Read more

My daughter came home from hospital with a big yellow wedge after ankle/leg surgery. The wedge they gave her was causeing so much pain. So when this arrived, and after the first 1 min of use my daughter cried tears of joy and relief! She loves how soft it is, and how easy it is to maneuver with the side handles. And she really appreciates the extra section to raise or lower her leg. It doesn’t seem like it would make a difference being able to take off that bottom section but sometimes it really helps with the comfort and pain. This leg pillow was worth the cost 100% I would highly recommend anyone with any procedure down where you need to put your leg to get this! It has provided so much pain relief for her and works well. It worked out extremely well. I didn't use the extra layer. I am 5'4". Had to really tucked under butt to keep heal elevated and not touching pad. I had heal / ankle surgery. Cradled my leg perfectly and didn't have to worry about leg slipping off like it would with pillows. Much easier to sleep. Worth the money. Just had an Arthroscopic Meniscus surgery a few days ago and have been using this every day to keep my leg elevated. It is superior in comfort and wide enough that if you have a cast (which I don't), that it will fit in this. I have a 36" inseam and this first perfectly. It has little straps that, while laying down, you can pull it closer to you if needed so you don't have to get all the way up. I am SO happy to have this for my recovery and very highly recommend it. Perfect wedge to keep foot elevated after toe surgery. I am 5’4”. This wedge is the perfect height for me but is adjustable if I needed to lower it. It’s very comfortable. I love that it is slanted for the rest of my leg to rest against. The cover can be removed to be washed but I haven’t washed it yet. I am able to sleep with my foot elevated with no problem.
