The number one thing I have to look for in a sunscreen is whether it makes my eyes burn. (I only recently learned that chemical sunscreens have nothing to do with the cause of the eye burning.) With this sunscreen, I had no eye burning for most of the time I was wearing it. At some point, after I was home and about to wash my face anyway, I rubbed my eyes, and I guess that caused some of the product near my eyes to cause irritation. Once I cleansed my face, though, it was fine. It felt really nice and moisturizing on my face. It started out pretty dewy, but within a few minutes it had completely absorbed into my skin. I wore it over my regular daily moisturizer, which I had applied quite a while before applying the sunscreen. I absolutely love that it has no fragrance, my skin is so sensitive. This Eight Hour HydraPlay Elizabeth Arden sunscreen is so nice. I wear sunscreen year round and so I have become rather picky when it comes to my sunscreen. This is extremely lightweight, lasts all day and has a SPF of 40. I especially love that it has a neutral scent to it (almost unscented) and doesn’t smell like typical sunscreen, which I hate the smell of. I have worn this in very sunny conditions near the shore for several hours and came home with no redness. I also love the pinpoint dispenser on this sunscreen so I can dispense a very small amount at a time. I am really impressed that there is no white cast on my face and I don’t need to rub it in excessively to make it all blend in. I love this sunscreen, best grab for the summer. The sun has been so strong the last few days and while my daughter goes and tans she makes sure to use this to make sure her face doesn’t burn.
