After plenty of research we decided to switch from a different brand to this one because it was cheaper but had more ounces. It is a good size and since castor oil is thick to begin with, the smallest amount goes a long way from using it as lotion and hair care. This brand doesn't have the grittiness that others sometimes have, it is quite smooth and there is no scent to it. The applicator as a pump takes a lot of the messiness out of taking the oil out of the bottle so the bottle itself doesn't get sticky and nasty like those you would have to pour out of. After paying a fortune in my local store for a 2oz plastic bottle, I finally found this oil in a much larger glass bottle, and as I far as I can tell after using it for two days/nights, the quality seems to be much better. The pump fits perfectly and dispensing is as easy as pie. The bottle was perfectly packed with extra cushion in a separate box, there was not even a slight chance anything could have gotten broken.
