This is more than a good quality, vegan tote. It's a day bag, capable of easily holding a computer, toiletries, and even a change of clothes. It is too large for me to carry for everyday (I'm 5ft), but I would definitely use it for a long day away from home or even as an overnight bag, if I didn't need much. Sometimes it's difficult to understand size and scale from photos, but the photos and description clearly state that the dimensions are 20"w x 13"h x 8"d and it weighs 2.2 lbs. Although the bag holds a lot of things, it’s very flimsy and unstructured. When you have a laptop in it, it’s prone to fall over and not stay upright. For a commuter bag, it’s too large. If it was used for airline travel, it wouldn’t fit underneath the seat which is where you’d want it to be able to access contents. It has a lot of pockets and sections for things but I didn’t find it a good solution for commuting back and forth to work. However, it's perfect as a weekend travel bag. Once you get some items in the bottom of the bag, it helps to stabilize it from falling over. The bag is large and the vegan leather is very nice. It's not leather, but it also doesn't look and feel like vinyl. It's stylish and easy to place on top of a rolling suitcase with the pass-through sleeve. Been carrying this bag almost every day and it still looks great. I’ve dropped it a couple times and expected scuffs, but the vegan leather held up (no marks). Inside there’s plenty of room and pockets for the basics, and the laptop sleeve gets used every day. The straps sit right on my shoulders (no digging), and even after a few hours it doesn’t feel heavy. Practical and good-looking, and it feels tough enough to hold up for the long haul. My wife and I had the same initial reaction: it's huge! Even empty it's rather heavy. She immediately said that she can't use it because if she filled it with anything it would weigh a ton. We divide our time between two houses and are constantly shuttling our stuff between our two residences. I am somewhat relieved that she doesn't want to fill this with potatoes or whatever it is she fills her bags with because I am the one who loads and unloads the car. We note that it calls itself a "weekender" tote bag because it's really a piece of travel luggage and not something you would carry around town ( except, I suppose, if you are a professional basketball player ). This weekender bag is super cute. It’s a faux leather, so keep that in mind, but it feels well made and like it won’t be prone to easy scratching or cracking. It has a ton of pockets for clear organization, so it doesn’t become an endless bag of things scattered across the bottom. It’s functional but aesthetic and the quality of it feels well made. This is stylish and functional, but it was too large and heavy for me, and that was with nothing in it. This bag will hold a lot! A bit bulky on my 5’2” body. I liked the luggage strap on the back and feet in the bottom to protect it. I didn’t care for the vegan leather, but it is thick and would be easy to maintain.
