These are just as pictured, the shaft is below calf, it is a bit narrow but soft material, I am US size 6 I bought US 6 was too small and hard to pull off, returned and bought brown and blk pair in size 7 and that is perfect, easier to get on and off, suggest wearing a stocking material sock like thin nylon, or silk, cotton seemed a little thicker so harder to get in and out of boot and definitely do not wear barefoot as you probably won't be able to get them off after wear. Toe is not too pointed so plenty of room in toe box which makes them comfortable, the heel is 4". The brown has yellow toned stitching and the blk has white. I have no other boots like these and they are super cute. Shipping was fast , recommend this seller and these boots, if you have wide feet I don't think you will be able to get your foot thru the shaft because there is no zipper and not a lot of stretch but seller does take returns if you try. I bought these to wear to a wedding. I wanted to wear heels, but also wanted to wear cowboy boots (because it was a country wedding). These gave me both! I walked, chased kids, and danced for hours and they never hurt! They were actually very comfortable. They are true to size. These boots were exactly what I was looking for.....cute, sexy, cowgirl boots to go with my costume. I had little time to prepare for an upcoming show and needed something like these. This style is very hard to find. These are not real leather, and sort of pricey for being made from synthetic material, but as I said, I loved the style. They arrived in a very timely manner and were packaged well. To look at them, I was so excited. Then the problem happened.......trying to put my damn foot into it! I am a size 7. The way these were cut, my heel could not get thru the bottom part of the boot to get my foot inside. the "inseam" was wayyy too small. I fought, struggled and worked up a sweat, and finally....one foot managed to squeeze itself in. I'm surprised that I didn't break the boot while doing so, but I was determined for these to work. The other boot? Forget it.......there was no way my foot would get inside. I needed them for a show, so sending them back wasn't an option, especially when I'd have to pay for shipping. I took them to a shoe repair and they tried stretching them for 36 hours to no avail. The ONLY way to resolve this problem was to have him cut the entire back seam open and put in a zipper. Now they are perfect, but this should never have happened and I ended up paying an extra 45 dollars! I contacted the seller with all the details, and while they were willing to issue a refund if I sent the boots back, they were unwilling to stand by their product and reimburse me for at least a portion of the repairs that had to be done. Even if I went up a size, it wouldn't have helped as the foot was a perfect size 7 cut. It was the inseam that was the problem. I'm just warning those of you contemplating buying these boots. You might get lucky and get a pair that are properly cut, but after reading some of these reviews, I'd suggest to keep searching elsewhere. Read more

I was pretty worried when I bought these for an awards ceremony later on this month,so when they came in yesterday I decided to break them in first. So here I am the day after a night on the town (and on my feet) and I feel great! They have just enough padding to keep my feet from hurting and great support around the ankles. Not to mention how amazing they look on! I was constantly reminded of that fact with all of the compliments I received.
