Space saving. Not time saving.
This functions as advertised. Its value is somewhat diminished if you have a lot of different lids (as we do). I find myself taking it out, dumping all the lids that have piled up over the one I need and then replacing them and putting it back in the cupboard. It has become easier for me to just put the glasses I use most frequently, like my Yeti coffee tumbler, in the cupboard with the lid on so I don't have to fumble for the lid in the morning in my zombie pre-coffee state.
