Friendship, refreshment and hydration; A Bottles Tale.
So I wanted a water bottle, to up and monitor my water intake. For some reason, a regular old water bottle wouldn't do, so I paid $24 to make a new friend in Embrava Bottle, hereafter referred to as "Bottle". I have now partnered up with Bottle for a week, and in the smooth words of Usher, this is my confession. First off, when I saw Bottle, what drew me to him was the jaunty little screw down hat (lid). That let me know right up front he cares about beverage security, which is important to me as Bottle gets chunked in my gym bag lots. In an effort to be completely honest, Bottle wasn't my first choice. However, several of the other bottles available have flip tops and I care not for them. Bottle has yet to leak and soil my fuzzy 80's headband, so lets put that in the win column. Lastly, the jaunty lil hat has a plastic arm that allows it to just roll right on off to the right, (or left if you prefer. Bottle is impartial.) right out of your way. I do have concerns about how long that little plastic arm will hold up under heavy use, but right now, Bottle abides. Bottle is trendy. Bottle has a flashy silver ring on it as well, but I am not exactly sure why. Bottle isn't married. Bottle isn't a cow. Fully loaded, you wouldn't be hanging Bottle from anything, as he's got plenty of heft. But hey, you could. Bottle is game. Over all, Bottle is solidly made. True to my clumsy nature, I dropped Bottle once this week, from atop my 6'3" frame. Falling, Bottle landed smack down on the concrete. Fearing the worst and apologizing profusely, I snatched Bottle back up. Bottle, undamaged, laughed, shook it off and continued to provide me delicious liquid refreshment, unhampered. Bottle does not care. Bottle lives to serve. Day to day pressures don't get to Bottle. Bottle does not sweat much. Bottle gobbles ice and water every morning, and never has a condensation issue. (Edit: 6 Months later, Bottle do be sweating some) You should know, Bottle is large. I knew that, and I have big hands, so it doesn't bother me. I like a little heft to most all things in life. But you should know, Bottle will not be contained. Bottle fits no cup holder on earth (i knew that, not an issue for me). Bottle likes to give gifts. So much so, Bottle brings a bracelet to the party. The bracelet is nice, smoothly made and slides right on your wrist, to assist with you carrying Bottle. Bottle is considerate. Bottle cares. In conclusion, I am glad I met Bottle. He is available in several appealing hues, but I decided I like grey best and am glad I did. I think if you are looking at bottles in this size and price range, there is no way you will be disappointed. If Bottle were to be kid(bottle)napped tomorrow, I would have another Bottle on the way. (is this where we write that we are an actual real customer who actually bought a product and not some paid spammy Russian reviewer? Also, are the Russians hiring reviewers? Does it pay well? asking for a friend.) EDIT: Bottle is not dishwasher safe. Someone here, whom I love dearly and will mot mention, tossed Bottle in the dishwasher. Bottle was sanitized to a high degree, however his lovely smoke grey surface now is stippled in places. Be that as it may, Bottle and I continue to do our thing as only we do. Grab you a Bottle today. 02/07/2024 - Picture added of Bottle today, four years later. Still here, still works just as designed. Bottle is well built, well designed and has taken a lickin' and kept on tickin'. Still seals just like when Bottle was young. The little plastic arm I worried over, is still just as solid and works just like new with no cracks or signs of failing. Hard to believe, considering I am rough on things. Shoes. Pants. My hands. But amid my rough and tumble lifestyle, Bottle abides. If a Delorean swept from the sky, bringing with it a wild eyed doctor with a frantic tale of time travel, who then carried me right back to my desk, circa Feb. 2020, giving me the proverbial do over, other than preemptely hoarding TP and fruit snacks, I would partner with Bottle again.
