I'm surprised how sturdy this water bottle is, as I tend to be clumsy and dropped it many times. Our 6-year old son loves how easy it is to use and drink from. We wash it after a day's use and no mold has accumulated. I chose this water bottle not just due to the design and reasonable size, but also because after searching for so long for an ideal water bottle for our son, I finally felt, based on the reviews, that I found the one that won't easily gather mold. That's what happened to our last water bottle with all those little hard-to-reach parts and it was a real shame. This water bottle only comes with two parts - basic cap and bottle; no bells and whistles within the cap, other than the top being a handy handle. That handle has helped, too, surprisingly! Our son likes the design and how if he feels playful, heck he can just hold it by the handle and not worry about it snapping. I have to mention, despite his (currently) lacking fine motor skills (he can't brush his teeth properly according to the dentist, unable to hold his pencil correctly, grabs things weird, etc.), it super easy for him to screw it back on, hold it and sip water easily. He never has to worry about no water coming out or whatever - just straight-up drink it from the cup, screw cap on, and done, go back to play, eating, whatever he's doing. The only con is that if it's left to cool in the fridge (especially with ice) and you wanna take it with, there will be a bit of condensation around the cup, so this is not exactly ideal if you desire a water bottle that supports a firmer. non-slip grip. For us though, this doesn't warrant taking away a star, as our expectations were not set for sports use - just every day, casual use. All in all, if you want a sturdy, small, basic (cute) water bottle that won't easily gather mold, even after days of use (as long as you rinse well, but not like scrub intensely like all the rest of the water bottles), with no mystery parts attached to the lid, this is the one for you! Perfect size to grab when heading out. Average water containers are too big or heavy to plop into my purse. It fits in my purse, even my pocket. Also easily fits in car cup holder or side of door. No leaking experienced. Small handle on cap is great to grab. I can easily add electrolytes or fruit juice to the bottle. Easy to clean - just toss in dishwasher.
