These write better than I expected them to. For bulk pens from a brand I had never heard of, I was surprised that these actually write pretty well. I would put these right on par with a Bic Round Stic. They are the type of pen that keep stocked in a classroom, or keep in quantity in drawers so that you always have a pen when you need one. I tested a few of each color along with blue and black Bic Round Stics, and they write consistently and are very comparable. Having never been used, the Bics started writing immediately every time, while the Enday required tracing the first letter over a couple of times before the ink flowed well. At the same time, the Enday produced noticeably darker lines. Both had mostly consistent ink flow, each skipping once in eight sentences, and the letters being a mostly uniform darkness and width. Overall they are good pens their price range. These are obviously nowhere near the quality of more premium pens, but they are not at a premium price, so that is to be expected. As a lefty, I rely on quick-drying pens to prevent smearing and ink buildup on my palm. These pens offer excellent smoothness, fast drying times, and strong color vibrancy. Moreover, this Enday ink is very durable in a quick water bleed test. After allowing the ink to dry for 1 minute, I sprayed water directly on the ink and never saw it run. Furthermore, I folded the paper over and rewetted it to test for cross-page transfer (simulating a notebook). Again, no ink transfer occurred. The only way I was able to cause the ink to smear was by applying water and rubbing the page. It's worth noting that both end caps, the body, and the cap feature airflow holes. While this may potentially increase the risk of ink bleeding or contribute to faster drying, I am not an expert on ballpoint pen engineering, and I have never observed a ballpoint pen exploding due to normal use in over 20 years. These pens are excellent, matching the color and durability of other well-known brands. The value depends on the current price, as they are roughly the same as those from the French brand. This is a bulk pack of 60 ball point pens. They are a medium point and come in both black and blue colors (30 of each). These do not have any wax coating or anything like that on the ends, you simply uncap them and begin writing. In my testing of a few the blue ones work better than the black, not certain why. It just took an additional stroke to get the black ones going. Once they are writing, they tend to work relatively well and I have written several pages without fail on both blue and black. I have chosen to rate this product 4 stars. Overall, this is an inexpensive bulk set of pens. You get what you pay for. They are not fine tipped but work well enough. The key is they are not gel-based pens. Ultimately, they will suit my needs for the price and therefore, I'd recommend. Criteria for Stars: 1 - Total rip off, doesn't perform basic advertised functions or not product advertised. I would likely RETURN and would NEVER recommend. 2 - Not worth the money. Performs some of the basic advertised functions, but likely not all, and ultimately was deemed as not providing enough value for the money spent. I would not buy again, and would likely not recommend unless the buyer had a very specific use case. 3 - It performs the basic functions as advertised, and has some usefulness at the price point, but doesn't work for all of the reasons I purchased. I would likely not buy again, and would only recommend if buyer understood usefulness limitations. 4 - It performs most all of the features I purchased it for, but has limitations. What a great value! This 60 pack of pens is perfect for any occasion. They write cleanly, from the first letter. I am a bit of a pen snob - I only like medium ballpoint in blue. Bic Round Sticks are my favorite and these are nearly identical to them. They come with lots of ink and no smudging! Color is perfect and writing is super smooth. I'd purchase these again! Read more
