I knew what I was buying and did some research and plus we use this model style in our company and we are saving a lot of money than just using regular batteries. The charge last a long time and had no problems of the power failing. These (and all other rechargeable NiMH-type) batteries are really great in low-powered devices. I mostly use these in these in most flashlights, remote controls, and other peripherals. However, using these in even a cheap headlamp will trigger a low-voltage mode after 20-30 mins of use (if that). This is due to NiMH batteries being 1.2V, instead of 1.5V like an alkaline battery. I'm going to try and find some rechargeable Lithium batteries to see if they work any better before giving up completely. Read more
