I have been slowly been purchasing these Eneloop Panasonic rechargeable batteries in AA and AAA to replace any other batteries as these little suckers stay charged a very long time and recharge fast with the Eneloop charger. I use them in my tv remote my smoke / fire alarms my thermostats / humidistats and they work flawlessly in everything I have put them in.These are literally worth their price and is one of those cases of you get what you pay for as these are exceptional batteries and I expect that is why they cost more than most other brands. This is not my first pack of these Eneloop batteries by Panasonic. But as time has gone on, and things in our house run out of power with traditional batteries, I've changed over to these. So I ended up needing some more as the holidays arrive. These come fully charged via solar power which is awesome. They are easy to use, easy to charge and last a long time in our devices. they will have a very long lifetime, heck they will probably outlast me. They are more expensive, but if you read reviews on any other battery they will compare it to these, and for good reason, these set the bar, they are the golden standard to measure other by, so unless you simply can't afford them, then buy something else, otherwise buy these and be happy. The name brand is a more expensive, but they do take more charges and, maybe, provide more usable power. My wife cycles through three of them every few days and these hold up whereas some of the other brands (sorry Amazon) have failed more than a year sooner. Read more

I’ve tried multiple other brands over the years, but none have delivered the consistency, longevity, and overall performance that Eneloop has. I purchased them specifically for my outdoor garden solar lights, and the difference was noticeable right away. Even in winter—when daylight is limited—they’ve been reliably powering my lights for more than 4 hours each night. It’s been a couple of months since I switched them in, and their output hasn’t dropped or shown signs of fading. The steady brightness and dependable charge retention stand out compared to other batteries I’ve used, which tended to weaken much sooner. So far, I’m thoroughly impressed. If they maintain this level of performance long-term, they’ll easily be my go-to choice moving forward.
