The main advantage of the Eveready lithium batteries (both AA & AAA) are that they DO NOT LEAK, EVER. Before I used lithium, I used Duracells. They were very good, but occasionally they would leak. It's a pain the the butt when something is destroyed by battery corrosion. One of the main problems when some little item becomes unremarkable is that you can't easily find the same unit to replace it (whether it's discontinued or just remodeled). So your little push lights mounted on your walls don't match anymore. I'd rather pay a few more $ now to not have to worry about that. These batteries last 2-3 times longer than alkaline and they weigh less. Win-win. The downside is they cost more. Read more

The Energizer Ultimate Lithium AAA Batteries (24-Pack) are a top-tier choice when you need reliable, long-lasting power, especially in high-drain or essential devices. I’ve used them in everything from flashlights and wireless mice to remotes and digital thermometers, and they consistently outlast regular alkaline batteries by a wide margin. They’re lightweight, leak-resistant, and perform well in extreme temperatures, making them ideal for outdoor gear, emergency kits, and tech you don’t want to check frequently. With a 10-year shelf life, they’re also great to stockpile. While they cost more upfront than standard batteries, the long lifespan justifies the price—you’ll be replacing them far less often. One note: These are not rechargeable, so be sure you’re using them in devices where disposables make sense. Overall, Energizer Ultimate Lithium AAA Batteries deliver superior longevity and reliability, making them a smart investment for devices that matter most. Read more
