NO fussing with USB chargers or cables, or ports than can go bad. ++ Comes with 4 Energizer rechargeable AA batteries, so it's a good deal, price-wise. ++ Simple, large, bright indicator: red (charging), green (DONE!), or flashing red (problem with a battery). ++ Charges our Tenergy or Energizer brand NiMh batteries well, & also generic ones from outdoor solar lights. ++ Has an opening in the back, so it's easy to push out the batteries when they are fully charged. DOWNSIDES (small, but good to know): -- You cannot charge just ONE battery at a time. You must charge either 4 or 2. If charging 2, they MUST be in either the 2 left-most or 2 right-most slots. This was not obvious when we purchased, but we did find the "CHARGE 2 OR 4" statement afterward in the additional images. -- Included printed directions are welcome, but are fairly small print. The image of proper battery placement could have been larger and better designed. IMPORTANT: It's NOT for NiCd or other non-NiMh type batteries. I decided to test rechargeable batteries for photography, with my Nikon D750. The battery charger charged the batteries quickly and powers the camera well enough for my test. I will try to give an update on the performance in a few days. I recommend using a wall adapter to properly charge the batteries. A USB port in a wall outlet is not enough and will take hours to charge. Update 4-26-202225: I had a wonderful photo session today. These batteries worked great. Absolutely no issues with pics/videos, even on high power/quality settings, I used a high-quality Nikon 85mm lens. While these batteries worked great, I did not realize how power hungry my camera was. These batteries lasted maybe just over 2 hours, but they did work and worked well. Fortunately, I had an OEM battery, so I was able to continue my photos. Bring extras if you chose this type of battery, or an OEM. Read more

These batteries are extremely useful and convenient. I play a lot of VR games and was getting tired of having to change out the batteries once a week. Over time, that can become a weekly expense of getting new batteries. So when I found these rechargeable batteries, I knew I needed them. Energizer is a trustworthy brand and knew I can trust their quality. These double AA batteries are of excellent quality and can hold a charge for about 3 days of constant use. It comes with a wall charger that can charge all four batteries at once in a matter of hours. The wall charger does have a hard time staying in the wall socket since it is only one prong and with all the batteries in it, it can get heavy. I had to put the charger on a power strip so i can lay down instead of hang out the wall. Another critique to note is that once you charge the batteries enough times, it starts dying much quicker. Now it has been a couple of years since I purchased these and I am only now noticing a difference in battery life. This was to be expected but I appreciate how long they have lasted so far. Great value, you not only get a charger you get 4 rechargeable batteries too, it does take 8-9 hours to recharge the batteries, so be patient, at first I thought red light wasn't going to go off to green light, but it did took about 8 1/2 hours, I appreciate both the folding plug for space reasons and the auto shut off feature once it turns green. I love that it comes with some AA batteries, and fits AAA batteries too. The charging light is very bright and easy to see. After charging it fits away nicely in a drawer thanks to the plug being foldable. I found that it may misdiagnose some batteries as 'bad', it happened to me once, and the batteries I was trying to charge were brand new. If that does happen the best course of action is to take the batteries out, unplug the charger, put the batteries in the charger and plug the charger in again, the ol' turning it off and on again schtick. I found that fixes the issue easily enough, but if it persists than I suspect a battery may actually be dead. Read more

This is the second time I purchased. This time it’s for a Christmas gift for a nephew who goes through batteries for his XBox remote. He uses my rechargeable batteries when he’s at my house so I figured it would be a good gift for him. The price of batteries is so expensive so this product saves me money.
