I have gone through a dozen or more flashlights, toys and other electronic appliances that run on batteries. All have failed due to battery leakage of name brand batteries. Not cheapo batteries. I have finally given up on anything other than Energizer batteries. They don't leak. I'm tired of trying to get devices going again by wiping them down with vinegar to get rid of the corrosion. With these I don't have to. I recently discovered an electronic device that I haven't used in at least 5 years batteries were still inside, Energizer batteries, absolutely no leakage. Read more

Most batteries don't perform well in sub-freezing temperature. I live in Boston area where it gets mighty cold in winter. It has been a challenge to keep the outdoor temperature transmitter working, especially in the coldest days of the winter. None of popular brands of the common AAA alkaline batteries would last or even work under such conditions. This Ultimate Lithium is the only battery that could work in the sub-zero condition. I use these lithium batteries in my flashlights that I keep for emergency stored at home and in the glove compartment of my cars. I like these batteries because they last a long time so the flashlights are ready when I need them and they won’t leak and destroy the flashlight. For me, this is what makes them worth the extra money. Long-term reliability. Read more
