This worked outstandingly well on an old, stained fiberglass shower surround. I was shocked by how well it helped me remove stains and etched -in hard water stains, soap scum, and mineral deposits. I used this with a battery powered scrubber. I let the solution soak for the recommended time after wetting the surface. It did take two applications but i could not believe the results!! I wish i had taken before and after photos but i didn't really expect much. I am a HUGE fan of Zep products: My favorite laundry stain remover is Zep brand and my new favorite toilet stain remover is the Zep Acidic toilet bowl cleaner. That being said, i didn't think there was much hope of removing red hair coloring from the tub and tub surround!! This is absolutely worth the price! We were ready to remodel the bathroom because the stains made the shower and tub look so awful. This IS a powerful cleaner so good ventilation is important and good quality gloves. Still, i will never allow myself to run out of this product again. It's concentrated so you can dilute it in different percentages depending on your needs. This review wasn't solicited in any way. I paid full price for this product myself. I just wanted to share a wonderful product with others who may have the same needs. I highly recommend this!! Read more

I tried this brand because Limeaway became harder to get and more expensive. I have well water with some mineral deposits that show up in toilets and tubs. If you have had a well you know these stains and build up can be a real unsightly problem. This is a liquid, and is not thick, so pour with caution because it can burn your skin. I use it in toilets, tubs and showers and it works well if you let it soak a few minutes the rinse. Good value too. Read more

This is such a great product for stubborn country well water stains. Minimal smell and works great on rust. Read more

One 32 oz bottle down the toilet overflow standpipe, one flush, and about 50% unclogged jets on a moderately limed-up commode. About what I expected. In a few weeks I will repeat, possibly with the jets covered with duct tape and waiting a few hours. Read more

I'm impressed. I applied it as instructed on the sink. By the time I applied it on the bathtub and returned to scrub the sink - it was clean. No scrubbing at all - it's clean! Read more

Good product, not great, does the job but it might be worth paying more for other product. Cleans well but has to sit longer. Fair price for what it is. Read more

We just moved into a new home, and the master bath toilet had brown mineral stains that nothing would get out. And I tried everything. But I read some reviews for zep calcium lime rust, and decided to give it a try. I'm blown away by how quickly and completely this product brought the toilet bowl back to like new. I simply shut off the water supply to the toilet and flushed it, poured some of the zap into the bowl, and lightly scrubbed it around with the toilet brush, and walked away. I came back in 10 minutes and all of the stains were gone. I wish I had taken before and after pictures because very few products surprise me, and amaze me at how well they work, like this did. Understand that it is acid-based, unlike CLR, so you won't use this to clean out your coffee maker, but for heavy duty mineral deposits and stains, this stuff is the best! Read more
