Wow! these are bright. Be sure to choose the set you want. Some have pull chains, some rocker switches. Some come with drop down chains, some screw into the ceiling. They are a great replacement for the fluorescent tubes and starters in my garage for near the cost of one tube. I installed duplex outlets so I can replace easily. Read more

I installed these in our horse stalls by screwing the brackets into the joists above. Installation was easy and the lights are flexible enough that perfect alignment of the brackets is not necessary. Mine were off up to 3/16" and it all went together great. Really puts the lumens in a spot that we could use light when grooming. The farrier appreciates the better visibility as well. Read more

I installed a 4 pack of 4' lights in my garage. Contrary to what a previous review says, you can connect these in series with the supplied male to female wires. Someone said you can only connect the lights together to make 1 long light but that is not true. I did cut the male to female wire (it was like 3' long) down to about 10 inches so I wouldn't have a long wire hanging on the ceiling. They are really bright and come with several options to wire them. I used the small hardwire cords to hardwire them to the old garage single bulb fixture. I removed the fixture and bought a cheap round outlet cover from Home Depot and drilled a hole in the center to run the wires through. Read more

I recently purchased and installed 10 of these in my work room (2 rows of 5); the room is 15'x26' with 9' ceiling. I converted one of the round electrical boxes on the ceiling from a bulb to an outlet (and plugged the lights into the outlet) so that I can switch them on/off from the wall switch. The install was straight forward. I separately purchased wall mollies & screws than the ones that come with the lights. (I never was a big fan of those cheap nylon mollies). The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars are: - The instructions were very basic; they didn't even tell you what size drill to use for the supplied mollies - The lights are almost too bright - The lights are not dimmable (I tried adding a dimmer switch; the lights buzz/flicker but don't dim) Other than that, these lights are awesome.
