These look just like the pictures. They are very well made and stretchy. I do lots of bike riding so these stretch where I need them to. I got the XXL but should have gotten the XL. I want them a little tighter for more support. They have handy pockets on each side. The smartphone pocket on the inner liner and the pocket on the back outside fits an iPhone 13 style phone. If you have a larger phone, it might not fit. The pockets are larger so you could put the phone there - but no zipper. All-in-all, I like these athletic shorts - nice and stretchy. There's much to like about these shorts. They are comfortable, lightweight and have a smooth waist band. The pocket on the back is perfectly large enough for an iPhone 14, a key, and/or any cards you may want while on a run. They fit fine with the exception of the "compression" liner. The workout running shorts arrived, well packaged, on time and defect free. The shorts fit well as per the sizing chart. The shorts have an elastic waist, as well as a draw string. The shorts have two side pockets and a rear pocket across the middle; not sure what it's purpose is, since it is very shallow. The inner liner has a pocket on the right side. I like these shorts a lot. They fit well and the material is soft and quick-drying for workout purposes. The shorts have an extra pocket in the back to put your phone or a small device. They also have side pockets and an inner compression liner. I'm a big fan of these and would buy them again. Read more

These running shorts are well made, are very comfortable in the waist and are the perfect length, ending about 1-2 inches above the top of my kneecaps. I love the feel of the material and the colors as well. But there are a few things I really wish were different about these shorts: 1. The compression liner is way to big. It does not fit very well. As someone who prefers to wear athletic boxer briefs, these don't do a very good job of replacing them and wearing my boxer briefs as a third layer is just too many layers for comfort (and to stay cool). 2. The front pockets are not deep enough to hold a larger phone. While the compression liner has a phone pocket in it, it doesn't work very well (since it's loose as already stated). 3. I don't love that the back pocket is right in the middle of the back. This is just a preference, since I like the pockets on my athletic shorts to be just like pockets on any other type of pants/shorts I wear, so you may be fine with it. Had these shorts had better pockets and a better fitting liner, they would be 5 stars for sure, because I really do like the way they look and feel. But as it is, I will probably only use these shorts when I'm at the gym (where I don't really need the pockets) and when I don't need the support of a tight-fitting liner (like when I'm lifting instead of running). I like that you can put your phone in the thigh pocket on the liner (RHS). This allows me to run without the phone bouncing around in my pocket. They are a little snug with my regular size so you might want to try one size larger. Read more

My son started out using these short to work out. He loves the boxer brief style liner. Now hes using them at the pool he lifeguards at because he said they're so comfortable that it isn't a problem to wear them all day, even if they get wet. He loves them so much that I have ordered him two more pair so we don't have to keep washing them every day. Very durable and a great buy! Read more

I just wore these to do a 5k race and I feel like they made me faster. :) Okay, I don't know about that, but it was really nice to have the zip pocket on the back (just below the waist level) for me to put my phone in and know it wasn't going to bounce out of a pocket. The liner is really nice too, and there's a pocket there for your phone as well. Overall I really like these shorts. Read more
