This is an awesome swim suit! I do wish I could but a top and bottom sized separately because I tend to be a small on bottom and larger on top, but I got the medium and it fits awesome. I really wanted a halter style tankini with the thicker straps and the touching is flattering. The bottoms are cut modest but cute. Overall, I really like this and think it is flattering and am considering ordering another. I am 5'8 and no idea what I weight but I wear a 4/6 small/medium in most brands and am an hourglass shape. This is one of the most flattering swimsuits that I've ever put on my body!!! Let's be honest, shopping for a new swimsuit is tantamount to torture. On top of the usual myriad of insecurities, I'm also very picky about how I look in swimsuits, what's going to be exposed to the general public, and if they'll actually be comfortable and practical for swimming/beach activities. So, it was nothing short of a miracle when I put this suit on and immediately felt amazing in it! I loved the first one so much that I ordered a few more in different colors to compare, and they were all extremely well-made. If you are petite or short-waisted, this swimsuit is for you! Many one-piece swimsuits are just too long in the body for me, but many two-piece tankinis are also problematic because the tops are so long that they look sloppy (or like a maternity bathing suit). This top, however, hits in JUST the right place on the waist to maximize one's curves (aka, no midriff on display but not a dress either)! It is SO well-designed with very thoughtful details---the seams, shaping, and overall lines come together to make an incredible silhouette! It really is a stunner, and I don't say that lightly! A few highlights of this suit include: --high quality fabric and stitching (quality is just as good as expensive swimsuits from department stores) --amazing shape/silhouette that is neither prudish nor too revealing --sturdy construction that feels very secure but doesn't pinch or squeeze anywhere --great neckline shape (helps balance bust and hips) and very comfortable with wide, self-tie straps --bustline is supportive and well-sewn; the cups actually stay in place (even when moving/raising arms); keeps everything secure even for large chests --fantastic styling (vintage flair but still modern) with good lines and just the right amount of ruching --bright, attractive colors --true to size fit on both top and bottom (also has a bit of stretch) --awesome balance of top & bottom proportions; top fits perfectly for short-waisted people without lots of excess fabric that adds the illusion of extra pounds The blue & white pattern is a nice, subdued navy and a bright white; the red is more of a warm-toned red with an orange undertone (not quite neutral/classic red as depicted); the bright blue is, indeed, an electric cobalt (my favorite of all three). Overall, the quality, design, fit, and craftsmanship of this swimsuit cannot be beat! I can't believe that I was able to order, sight unseen, a swimsuit that is so flattering!
