EPOMAKER X Aula EA75 MAX: Keyboard has been flawless so far (30 days). Has that wonderful mechanical sound we all love. RGB control is accessible via Keyboard shortcuts or through the knob. Looks great regardless if it's lit up or not. Pretty much a plug and play board. I would definitely recommend for those looking for a smaller mechanical board that sounds like good and feels good when you type. Good purchase the money 👍👍 Read more

What a beautiful mechanical keyboard! This is not a full size mechanical keyboard, but it instantly made my desk setup feel simpler and more organized. The keycap colorway features a mix of dark tones with yellow and gold accents, creating a very classy and clean look. On the right side, there is a small display screen that adds a nice touch and provides useful information such as Caps Lock status, time, and the current connection mode. For this EA75 Max, I selected the Ice Vein switch, and it sounds incredibly poppy. I absolutely love it. Each keystroke delivers a satisfying and lively feedback that really enhances the typing experience. The volume dial in the top right corner is another great feature, allowing for quick and easy volume adjustments. So far, I have only used the 2.4G wireless connectivity, and it has been extremely responsive. The keyboard feels very comfortable to use for extended periods. I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone who is not looking for a full size layout. For those working in an office environment, you may want to consider a quieter switch option, as the Ice Vein switch definitely lives up to its name. That said, if you enjoy strong feedback and a more expressive typing sound, this switch delivers an incredibly satisfying experience. Also... incase you are wondering, YES, there's a build in area on top to store the receiver! Read more

This keyboard sounds and feels great to use. The ice vein switches are springy and responsive (although some are a little on the scratchy side, although not horribly so) and make a pleasingly creamy-ish clack-clunk (I’m terrible at keyboard sound descriptors, so can only go with how they sound to me), although the sound is also a bit hollow. The keyboard has some heft to it, considering it’s a budget model with a plastic case; not as heavy as I’d like, but not too light considering, basically. I love the volume knob, and the onboard display is a nice touch, although if you’re a Mac user, you should know that it’s just going to sit there like a vestigial organ doing nothing much. The display is set to show the time by default, but the time does not automatically sync just by being connected to a computer; it can only be set to the correct time by using the Epomaker software, which must be downloaded from their website. That software isn’t available for Apple computers (well, presumably you can run it with a Windows emulator), so unless Mac users have access to a PC, they’ll be left with a totally random time forever displaying on their keyboard (because changing the display to show something other than the time also requires use of the Epomaker software) - not even a different time zone, just a random time, because the clocks clearly have never been set to display even the local time of where they were manufactured, so even the minutes won’t be right. Oh, and the displayed date will be wrong, too. I use a Windows laptop for work, but that machine was having absolutely none of it and our corporate antivirus software flagged the installation file as malicious. I was able to grab it using someone else’s more security-lax computer, though, and just installing the software fixed the date and time issue, so my keyboard now displays correct info. I just have no way of easily changing what the screen displayed or using any of the customization features unless I want to borrow a friend’s computer every time I want to change something. I don’t really need the custom key mapping or any of that, so it doesn’t really bother me, but if you’re a Mac user who does have a use for those features - FYI: your ability to make use of the full functionality of this or any other Epomaker keyboard is going to be limited compared to Windows users. All in all, I’m pretty pleased with this keyboard. It’s compact and attractive, although I don’t love the beige color scheme so will be switching out the accent keycaps at the very least. I do enjoy RGB lighting so appreciate the RGBs on these switches. I’ve had no issues connecting via Bluetooth, and have not noticed any lag during testing - typically I use my keyboards in wired mode just for convenience, though. So, basically - a decent-if-not-perfect budget mechanical keyboard! Read more
