I rarely review anything online but this product has been so amazing that I have to say something! I have very fair skin and darker hair. Every CC cream or “color matching” product pulls orange on me EXCEPT THIS!! It provides light but effective coverage. I don’t feel like I have anything on my skin. It made for the perfect “foundation” while I was on vaca in St Thomas where it was 90 degrees and humid even at night! It blends easily. Give it a minute to dry down to see the full effect. I had high hopes for this based on other reviews, and omg, this product blew my expectations out of the water! I have a hard time finding foundations that match my skin shade, and doubly so since my cheeks have a perpetual flush to them. This CC cream just cancels out all the redness and transforms to match my shade almost perfectly. I literally stood in front of the mirror in disbelief as I applied it the first time. My skin looked so good, and I didn’t even need a true foundation! The CC cream is silky smooth and lightweight with the added bonus of SPF. I used a light application all over my face and built up coverage in areas that needed some extra correction. With a light dusting of powder, this CC cream lasted all day. It did not budge. Oh my goodness this is a miracle serum. After applying the serum you can feel your eyes firming and tightening and dark circles are almost gone. It goes on smoothly, no irritation & I have very sensitive skin. It takes a minute to start working. I've never experienced this type of serum. It also helps lift eyelids. I'm so grateful for prime because I only paid 28 bucks which is reasonable. I think 50 bucks is too expensive for this product, even though it works so I would repurchase this product. The Erborian CC Red Color Correcting Cream SPF 25 does a really nice job neutralizing redness and evening out skin tone. The green pigment blends seamlessly into the skin and adapts well, leaving a natural, healthy-looking finish rather than a heavy or cakey feel. It feels soothing on the skin and works well for light coverage days when you want to calm redness without wearing full foundation. The SPF is a nice bonus for daily wear. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it may not be enough coverage for more intense redness, and can feel a bit pricey for the size. After trying dozens of products, this is the ONLY one that truly covers my rosacea and inflammatory redness. It’s hydrating and flexible with my skin. It’s doesn’t settle into my pores or look cakey. It’s not sticky. It’s expensive but I understand because of the mechanics behind the ingredients and emulsions and R&D costs to make sure it works - especially for overly-sensitive skin like mine. The color is too warm for my cool-toned fair skin but I just use Parnell serum cushion in 13c to lighten areas on top of this and that works perfectly. This lasts all day as well. Read more
This color corrector does the job for you!! As a bridal MUA this covers pimples and redness with ease. You need a tiny bit, it's green before applying, but once applied it adjusts to a skin color beige! Cover with a tiny bit of foundation or concealer to ensure an overall even complexion and you're done. I definitely recommend this for everyone, and the price is affordable. Be sure to read the ingredients since this is technically a sunscreen and a color corrector. It has both chemical and mineral components. It does all the things it says and the finish is amazing. I have only had it on for a little more than an hour and I’m getting itchy around my nose. Will provide an update later. 10/12 update I should have noted that I have well controlled rosacea. The itchiness remained around my nose and between my eyebrows while I wore the product but it did lessen slightly. By the end of the day, I could feel the product on my skin and was ready to wash it off. When I read the ingredients, I noted the different types of sunscreens in it which could be the cause of the itchiness.
