This is a really clever, useful idea. It is kind of a cross between a hospital bed stand and a laptop mobile workstation. In its lowest position, it is the right height to put next to a chair and use for a snack table. A little bit higher, and you can get your knees underneath it and work on a laptop board or old-fashioned writing with an actual pen and paper. I am 5'8" tall, and in its highest position, it is actually a little too high for me to use as a standing laptop desk. I had to lower it a little bit. As a result, I find that this unit is extremely versatile. You press a lever underneath the table, and a shock absorber spring system will raise it. To lower it, you press the lever and lean on the table. The mechanism operated smoothly. The table attaches securely to the base with four Allen head screw bolts. The reason I took off one star was because of poor quality control. The casters screw into the bottom of the table base. Those threads were very poorly done. Two of the casters fit fine. One was loose and is probably going to fail eventually. The final one could not be tightened into place. You can slip the caster in, but if you lift or tilt the unit, such as you might do while going over a door sill, the caster will fall out. I think it's going to be correctable with some JB Weld; however, I believe when you purchase an item, you should expect to be able to put it together as supplied. Read more

I have been looking for a small workstation for when I am working at home. This mobile workstation is the solution I have been looking for. Right out of the box it was easy to assemble using the clearly written instructions. All the pieces fit together nicely. The workstation is built with quality materials and is very sturdy. The wheels roll very easily on hard flooring as well as carpeting. I appreciate the wheels having a locking feature, which is great when the workstation is in use. The tabletop is a light walnut color and has a very minimal texture which prevents items from sliding around. The tabletop is of nice size. I use an external keyboard and mouse with my laptop, and I have plenty of room for paperwork as well. I am 5’5” tall and the lowest height is perfect for me if I am standing or sitting. The lever under the top is conveniently located and easy to use to raise or lower the workstation tabletop. I have been using this workstation for well over a month and it has worked well for all my needs. I highly recommend this workstation based on quality, durability, and versatility. Read more

This is a really good, sturdy mobile desk that was easy to put together. The instructions were clear, and assembly didn’t take much time at all. Once assembled, it feels solid and stable. The height adjustment works smoothly and easily adjusts to a comfortable standing height. It rolls well when needed and stays in place when locked, making it convenient to move around and use in different spaces. I would be nice if it lowered just a bit more so that you can sit on the couch and use it.
