I’ve been using this espresso machine regularly and I’m honestly very impressed with how well it performs. Having a built-in grinder makes a huge difference in both convenience and taste. Freshly ground beans really elevate the espresso, and the grinder is easy to adjust depending on the roast and strength you prefer. The machine consistently pulls smooth, rich shots with great crema, which is something I didn’t expect at this price point. The 58mm portafilter gives it a solid, professional feel, and everything about the machine feels sturdy and well-made. It heats up quickly and is ready to use without a long wait. The controls are intuitive, and even if you’re new to making espresso at home, it’s easy to learn after a few uses. The steam wand works very well and has plenty of power for frothing milk. I’ve been able to make creamy lattes and cappuccinos with good microfoam, and switching between brewing and steaming is fairly quick, which helps during busy mornings. The only minor downside is that the grinder is a bit on the louder side while it’s running, especially early in the morning. That said, it only runs for a short time and is absolutely expected for a built-in grinder, so it’s not a deal-breaker at all. Cleaning and maintenance are straightforward. The water tank and drip tray are removable, and wiping everything down after use is easy. It also comes with all the accessories you need to get started, which is a nice bonus. Overall, this is an excellent all-in-one espresso machine for anyone who wants café-quality drinks at home without spending a fortune. It looks great on the counter, performs reliably, and delivers consistently great results. I use it daily and would definitely recommend it. Read more

This espresso maker has made a huge difference in my morning routine! The option to dial in exactly the type of grind you want on the coffee is extremely easy to navigate and the crema that it produces is just like a boutique coffee shop! The manual feature is very easy to use as the machine does the rest for you. You can also heat up milk for a latte and very easily make a double espresso for your daily brew. The different tools that it comes with are great for maintaining the machine and the aesthetic looks is extremely appealing as well. Overall I am very glad with this invest and as you can see, it came packaged so nicely as well! Read more

This is a very impressive machine, particularly at this price point. You get all of the basic essentials you need in the box. (see below for recommended upgrades) The 58mm portafilter includes trays, one for single shot single wall, double shot single wall, and a double shot double wall. I tested all 3, but my preferences is for a single wall double shot. The single shot wasn’t quite enough for me. The double shot, double wall allows you to use more coffee, if you want more caffein in the cup, but it seems to rob some of the flavor. The unit heats up very quickly. The built in grinder has plenty of adjustment notches, and you can reprogram the grind time. The hopper holds a fair amount of beans, and there is an extra silicon insert that sits between the lower plastic and the lid, acting as an expansion tank. This allows you to fill more than a full pound of beans, though it does make it too tall to slide under the cabinet. Pressure is good on the pump, and the meter helps you fine tune your grind size and amount to match the pressure needed for a great shot. The brew temperature can be set in 4 degree increments, so you have some options there too. The frother works well. It takes a few seconds to heat up, which is a separate process from the main tank. It doesn’t take long, but it is extra time you need to account for. It took a little trial and error to get the hang of using it. If you pull the lever too soon, you just get hot water out of the nozzle, rather than steam. Wait too long, and it gives an over heating error. Once you get the hang of it, it’s fine. Overall, I think it’s a great machine, and well worth the asking price. But I do have a few complaints/suggestions for improvement: - The manual specifically says to run the hopper dry between uses, and to not store beans in it. I agree with that recommendation, I just wish they had used a smaller hopper on top, because…. - The space between the drip tray and the bottom of the porafilter is so short, you can’t get a standard size coffee cup under there without taking out the drip tray. Yes, I know it’s an espresso machine, but I like to brew a double Americano into a full size cup. - You need to hang on to the manual to figure out how to change settings. Adjusting the brew temperature, froth strength, etc all involves pressing and holding button combinations, and there is no indication of those instructions on the machine itself. You also have to flip through the manual to find those settings, because there isn’t a 1 page chart covering them. - Minor gripe, but there is a plastic brace that sits across the top of the water tank. It seems to serve no purpose other than holding the lid. Removing it is a bit of a pain, and cleaning the tank without removing that insert is nearly impossible. - The power button turns the heater and controls on and off, but the power button itself pulses with a bright light when the machine is off. There is no power switch, so to turn off the light, you have to unplug the machine. Recommended upgrades: Due to the short height between the drip tray and portafilter, I suggest an actual espresso cup Spring loaded tamper – the machine calls for 30lb of pressure, which can be hard to gauge by hand. I picked up a spring loaded tamper that clicks at 30lb, and it made my brews much more consistent. Durability is tough to judge at this point. It's given me absolutely no trouble so far, but I've only been using it a few weeks. Read more
