These seem to work very well for my automatic coffee machine with built-in grinder. If you happen to use medium to oily beans, which are typically not recommended for the Philips latte go coffee machines, these work great. Overall, they're a great value. And they seem to do the trick and cleaning the coffee chute. You simply drop one in and run the cleaning cycle. I'm not sure how this works on other coffee machines, but it works great on mine. I run the cleaning cycle twice. I put the tablet in the pre-ground coffee bin, and then hit start. It takes about 5 minutes to run the cycle. This works well enough at removing whatever crud that builds up in my machine. It gets rid of that rancid burnt taste. I use it every week or so, whenever I notice that flavor returning. I'm new to back flushing. I don't have anything else to compare it to but it works well enough for me. Read more

These little tablets are strong and work for multiple purposes. I was able to put the brew unit from my breville fully automatic expresso machine into a pot with one of these tablets, went away for the weekend, came back to a bunch of old coffee grounds in the bottom of the pot. This is after having rinsed it throughly. More effective than the white vinegar I was using it. I also used it to clean my keurig and a nespresso machine, worked great in all of them. But be careful when removing the seal the first time. Ripping it off sent a dust cloud right into my face. Knowing how strong these tablets are I can't imagine that is safe to breathe. It's only when first opening so didnt impact my rating, but point it away from your face! Read more
