More than decent.

CharlieJanuary 9, 2026

This is my second moka pot-style espresso maker, and I'm most certainly satisfied with the quality of coffee it makes. It isn't going to be your exceedingly high bar pressure style of espresso, but it still has a great ability off producing the same desirable espresso flavor, texture, and consistency as my first pot. I ordered it because my first one is only a 4-cup maker, which is usually just not quite enough for me. [Keep in mind: an espresso "cup" (~ 2 oz) is not the same as a coffee cup (~6 oz) or measuring cup (8 oz). 6 cups for this makes yields a decent yet still small mug of coffee with plenty of actual caffeine.] It is so easy to use (you get the hang of it after the first try, just keep the water in the reservoir at or below the level of the air valve). The only two complaints I have is material selection and the fact that there is no way to pop it open with the handle during use. Although the aluminum is lightweight, especially when compared to my stainless steel maker, it doesn't clean as easily. It gets discolored if washed even in the top rack of a dishwasher (so handwashing is recommended), and I'm not as in-love with the shape and overall look, when compared to my smooth and rounded stainless steel one. But I still like the final product. No leaking, no malfunction, and no other issues at all. It's a very decent size, but I wish the materials used were nicer. But it is sold at a more-than-decent price, and it does what I need it to. I'm definitely satisfied overall. Read more

Bad quality but does the job

Charles & SiriDecember 23, 2025

Material The build is somewhat bad. It's made from cheap and thin aluminium. You have to be careful when wash it because the edge of the funnel can cut your fingers or hands. I also see a few dents on it as well as some bad welding. Brewing Despite it being cheaply made, it still does it job. It makes coffee like the one I had. It works on electric stove but I feel like it takes longer to brew but I used it on gas stove so I'm not sure if this is normal on electric stove top. Cleaning Very easy to clean. All parts can be removed to clean including the gasket and filter. I just clean it with warm water and a little bit of soap the first time. I recommend to just use warm water with dishrag WITHOUT soap to preserve flavor. If you clean it right away then it's very easy to clean. Read more

Obsessed With the Coffee This Thing Makes

Stephanie BDecember 23, 2025

I absolutely love this moka pot. Full disclosure: I had to watch a handful of videos before I felt confident using it, but once it clicked, I was hooked. The coffee it makes is rich, smooth, and way more satisfying than I expected from something this simple. My routine is pretty straightforward. I grind about 20g of beans on my grinder’s moka setting, use boiling water from my electric kettle, and assemble everything without overthinking it. I keep the lid open while it brews, and once the coffee starts flowing steadily, you can actually see the color shift lighter. That’s my cue to turn the burner off. The residual heat and pressure finish the job without scorching anything, and the result is consistently great coffee. I really recommend using a heat diffuser plate if you’re new to moka pots. It makes it almost impossible to accidentally burn the coffee and takes a lot of the anxiety out of the process. Once I added that, the whole experience became very forgiving and repeatable. My partner and I are genuinely addicted to the coffee this thing puts out. It’s become part of our daily routine now. The only small thing I wish it included are those little circular paper filters you can add to catch fine grounds. They don’t cost much or anything, but it would be a nice extra so you don’t have to wait for the grounds to fully settle. I’m knocking one star only because of the nonsensical brand name emblazoned on the front. It’s almost offensive. I hate when they do that and it’s not a known brand. It totally cheapens the look of the item and is especially bad if you were to give this as a gift because of the no frills way in which it came, with no instructions or anything. If you’re willing to spend a little time learning how a moka pot works, this one delivers. Simple setup, great coffee, and way more payoff than I expected for the price. Read more

Good Moka Pot for Strong Espresso Style Coffee

mo willDecember 27, 2025

This moka pot does an excellent job brewing ground coffee, especially finely ground espresso style coffee. I used a prepackaged Latin espresso blend with a fine grind, similar to the texture of salt, and the result was a bold, strong cup with good flavor. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. The coffee brewed in about 10 minutes using medium heat. I prefer letting it build slowly rather than using high heat, and the coffee flowed smoothly through the spout. Watching the pressure build and the coffee rise is part of the experience, and this pot performs well in that regard. The pot is lightweight, which makes it easy to handle, but the handle itself is thin and feels less substantial than higher end moka pots. Because of that, it does not feel as solid as some other versions I have used. That said, it is still functional and easy to clean. The lid snaps open and closed, though I usually leave it open while brewing so I can see when the coffee starts to come through and remove it from the burner at the right time. Overall, this is a good moka pot. It is not the highest quality option available, but it does exactly what it is designed to do. It brews good coffee, is easy to use, and I will continue to use it. Basic Moka Pot

CustomerDecember 23, 2025

I bought this 6-cup moka pot to make espresso at home. It works okay and does what it’s supposed to do, but there’s nothing really special about it. The coffee comes out fine, but it’s not noticeably better than other moka pots I’ve used. It feels fairly sturdy and the black finish looks fine on the stovetop. One thing to note is that there were no directions included in the box, which was a little annoying. Overall, it’s a basic espresso maker—usable, but nothing impressive or standout. Read more
