I bought this carrying case because of it's size, the extra padding to protect against accidental drops, it's water resistance and professional look. It appears to be very well made. I like the brown leather trim on the zipper pulls because it's a nice contrast against the dark canvass and very stylish. I also appreciate the extra leather trim wrap on the shoulder strap which helps to make it comfortable carrying my 17" laptop with additional accessories and it allows me hands free movement when I'm going place to place. I also like the outside strap which makes it easy to add to your extended luggage handle when traveling. I don't know why they consider this a 'man's case' because as a Woman, I really appreciate the professional sturdy styling. The outside zippered pockets are good to carry your charge cords, earphones, pens etc. but I would have liked an additional inside pocket to enclose documents, paperwork or whatever else I'm working on to keep them flat and dry as well. Very nice looking bag with a very durable look and feel of quality soft canvas type material but not rough or abrasive. The padding inside is great but not so thick that it is almost a thick briefcase which I did not want. It has zippers where needed so mouse or pens do not fall out when dropped on the couch.
