This skirt was beyond what I was expecting. I loved that it fit just right. After reading some of the reviews, I ordered one size smaller. In most skirts I order, that do not have elastic, I wear an 18 but I ordered a 16 in this brand. I like my skirts a little loose but even after ordering a size smaller, this skirt did not fit tight. If you are a little rounder on the lower half of your body it may be best to order the 18. This was just the right fit and length. There is a slit in the back but honestly, it is a very small slit and can be sewn if needed. I'm not a fan of slits in my skirts. The material is Soft to the touch and does not feel like jean material. The price was worth it and a little cheaper than what I normally buy. Looking at ordering more. This will be great for work, hopefully, they will make a dark khaki color... Can't wear blue jeans to work. But this will pass. Read more

Comfortable, modest, good quality! The only thing that would make it better is if there was a way to adjust the waistband. I purchased a size 8 and it fit nicely, but the waistband was a little large, so if I wear a top untucked, the waistband/snap sticks out a little. I ordered a size 6 which also fit, but I returned since the 8 was more comfortable and didn't look tight. I wasn't expecting much. I have to return about half the things I buy on Amazon. This skirt, is one I will absolutely keep. It is unbelievably comfortable. It fits great. I read reviews and followed the size chart. I am normally a size 12 to 14..but have lost some weight due to being diabetic. I took a risk buying a size 10, which is what the size chart put me at..knowing full well, it would likely be wrong. It wasn't. It was spot on. It doesn't even gap at the back, and nearly every skirt does that to me. It takes a little getting used to walking, as I'm not used to a pencil skirt..but the stretch in it is amazing. I look forward to wearing it to school tomorrow. (I teach) Now if they could just get a blue one in my size ... I started of with a 5 star rating, but knocked it off down to 4, only in that within an hour of wearing, I noticed the skirt had stretched out of shape a bit. This is skirt fits very well, I really like the fit however, it has a very strong annoying Sulphur scent. I used home made remedy to try to get rid of the scent but they did not work. I soak in white vinegar then soak in baking soda. This scent really turned me off. Read more
