I live in New York and I’ve had this scooter for about a month now. I think it’s the quickest most enjoyable way of getting around locally. It charges super fast and comes with a carrying case that you can strap onto the scooter allowing me to carry the charger and top up wherever I go. The money I’ve been saving on cabs and public transportation! The battery life/ distance you get on a full charge is impressive if you’re not going top speed and you’re being energy efficient (using the electronic break which uses kinetic energy to recharge the battery as you go, letting gravity do the work on downward slopes). Unfolding the scooter is super easy, but I find that little red lever a bit difficult to keep down with my foot when I’m folding the scooter, I might be doing it wrong but it’s so small it constantly slips before I can fold the bar down. That’s my biggest issue with it, it’s not a deal breaker. This scooter has a good suspension system making it good for the bigger bumps on the road but the hard tires against rubble and rough terrain make for a rough ride where you can feel all the vibration. I wouldn’t recommend on stone streets, or really bad road, and definitely not in the rain if you face any steep slopes the tires are narrow and feel very slippery when wet. That’s not a test I’m willing to run. I live in a hilly area and around the highest elevation in Brooklyn so I face all kinds of uphill battles. I don’t know their degrees but the scooter is a beast, it takes me up with out any trouble. You have three break systems which work really well. I use two at a time whenever I need a quick solid break, but mostly try using just the electronic break for the recharge. You have to be careful with the e break its great but takes a little longer to stop and it won’t give you a full stop especially going downhill. I’ve never used the foot drum pedal and never feel the need to but you have the option I guess that’s a matter of style. Overall I think it’s one of my favorite purchases and has added onto the quality of my life. The scooter feels solid and performs as stated, people are really impressed whenever I let them take it for a ride. It’s stripped down unassuming appearance for all the power you get is what drew me to it. I wouldn’t choose any other scooter. Even the bulkier ones fall short in distance and speed. Though I have to admit the weight distribution of the scooter does make it feel like more than 29lbs but that’s a non issue considering most all other ones weigh much more. Read more

I've had this 2 months now and I'm very impressed. I wasn't sure how it would do with just one motor on steep Seattle inclines, but it gets the job done for this ~160lb rider. I don't think it would be enough power to get up very steep hills for someone much over 200lbs. I love how small and light it is compared to other commuter scooters I'm seeing. This thing is 1/2 the size of some of them. It's great for shorter people as the handlebars adjust down, almost no other models do that. It's light enough that I can carry it short distances and get it into my trunk no problem. It cuts my commute time by 2/3! The battery is great, lasting me all week without recharging. It's way faster than would ever be safe to go in my opinion. I definitely recommend a good helmet, a light folding lock, and not driving straight into any sidewalk or other ruts, the hard tires can't take that. I do not expect this will be great in the rain without changing the hard tires out. Based on some youtube videos i've found that's doable with some difficulty. The hard tires changeout challenge is the one and only drawback i can find with this scoot. It's fantastic! Read more

E-scooter is my main means of commuting. I used to take a bus and a subway. I am sick of transferring. That was the main reason I got an E-scooter. Etwow GT SE is my third scooter. The first E-scooter I got broke down less than a year, it was very cheap and only had a 200W motor. Then, I got other dual-motors powerful e-scooter. It was incredible and it was a great hill climber because my area is very hilly. Everything was really great, but I still use the subway, which was a big problem. The large size and weight of the scooter itself often made me a nuisance on the subway, and the frequent breakdowns of escalators/elevators made me angry. Finally, through a lot of reviews and searches, I thought etwow GT SE could be a great hill climber even though it had a lightweight and a single motor. The most important thing for me in choosing this scooter was its weight and size, which didn't make me angry anymore and it had a powerful single motor. Of course, compared to dual motor scooters, the climbing is slightly slow but compared to other e-scooters on my commute way, my scooter is still a great climber. I rarely fold my scooter, but it takes about three seconds to fold. Because it's very compact, it's easy to put it under your feet even if you go to a restaurant and it doesn't interfere with people around you. This is a really big advantage compared to other scooters. When I bought this, many told me that the price of this scooter with the small solid tire was a little bit unreasonable, However, I want them to tell me if there's another alternative scooter that has a powerful single motor and weight at this price. This powerful e-scooter is definitely the winner of the portability at the price. Read more

I have over 350 miles on it and no issues so far. This is the most portable yet one of the fastest scooters on the road. Instant torque. Long range. Cruise control. Dual suspension. Triple braking system. 270kg weight limit (both my wife and I can ride on it at the same time so great for couples!) Amazing customer service with responses within hours. Highly recommend! The mobile app is maybe the only downside as it lacks any useful features. Read more
