So my search criteria was a quick dry towel that could pack up very easily and could also get the job done for drying me off. I would say that I have used these towels for over three months now and I can honestly say that they hold up in the washer and the dryer. So here is what I really enjoy about these towels: 1. This a pack of three towels in the form of a large body towel (enough to wrap around someone who is 5’2” and look like a cocktail dress). There is a face towel/handwash one that looks like the same length as a dish towel. And then there is the square that is used as a washcloth or something else. 2. What I enjoy about this is that these towels can stack on top of one another and it will pack down very easily. 3. These are NOT thick fluffy towels. These are towels that are quick/dry material so it’s going to feel weird on your skin if you’re expecting a fluffy towel or the hotel sandpaper towels. 4. I would say the absorbency of these towels when I’m coming out of the shower: - for a head full of thick black hair, the towel holds up pretty well and is noticeably damp when you’re done with it. - it does dry quickly if you LET IT AIR OUT!!!! That’s the key here! I didn’t notice a funky smell or anything after shoving them in my gym bag wet for over 10 hours (forgot to throw them in the laundry before bed) and I can tell you that the towels were STILL wet if they do not get to air dry! The easiest thing to do with these are throw them over a chair or a corner of something. Things to note: DO NOT THROW THE RED TOWELS in with white laundry - I did Darwin’s survival of the fittest with my laundry and a white shirt turned pink If the towels do not air dry or are bunched up together in a bag and they are wet - the towels will not dry (just like at home). The customer service is phenomenal if you have an issue with one of the items. The thickness of this towel when packed up is less than 1.5 inches. And when I roll it up and fold it when I’m throwing it in my bag - I’d say I can pack it down to be about 4-6 inches thick and 6-9 inches long. I’ve managed to order three of these: Olive green, grey with sky blue trim and red. These towels are great if you need to stay in a hostel, go camping or pack multiple towels for your trip. Carrying case is small and cheap which means it sucks. Other than that the towels themselves are quite good. They are soft, soak up water quickly, and ring out the water thoroughly (mileage may vary depending on your strength and technique). I use these for the gym. This kid size towel is my workout towel I use to wipe sweat off my face or to lay my head on when using a bench. Great camp towels and wash cloths for you backpacking trips. Did great for me and my family on week long backpacking excursion in the Rockies. I’ve been using other camping towels for a while. The large body towel in this combo set weigh 215g compared to my other bath towel that weigh 250g. The fabric of this combo set was about 85% weight of the other set I have from another manufacturer. It still absorbs enough water for my use. I purchase this set for my upcoming trip because the three different sizes in this combo set. I plan to hang the hand towel by washing station. I like to dry my hands on a towel after washing them as oppose to drying my hands on my cloths or shaking them dry. The smaller face towel would be packed in my daypack. It’s useful for wiping my face and hands when I’m out hiking. The hanging loop has a snap that opens the loop and allows it to be hung from a pole or line without the needs of clips. The loop was made from a solid and non-elastic material, which does not allow it to loop around a roll-up towel for pack storage. Speaking of pack storage, the included storage mesh bag was a good idea, but it’s way too small to fit the three towels in when dry. Don’t even try to put the toes in wet or damp. Overall, these towels are great value for the money, but the edge stitching and the storage bags are below quality. Pluses: Good value. Three different sizes. Snaps on the hanging loop. Absorbing. These things worked great for traveling! These towels are light weight, compact, and quick drying - perfect for tossing in a carry on, checked luggage, or even a backpack. They also dry you very well - even better than a typical bath towel, although you have yo do more of a patting motion than wiping motion. The towels themselves dry quickly which is great if you dont have accessto a washer/dryer and need to pack up in the next few hours. Very happy with this product and would repurchase if needed. These towels are amazing. Got caught in a storm while camping and tent started leaking. Towels soaked up a HUGE puddle, rung it out and absorbed more. Big towel is really big. Dry quick on a laundry line. Love them! Read more
