Consumption and decay are the foundations of this universe. Change itself is immutable. It is with these fundamental truths in mind that I accepted delivery of this desk on a cold winter day. It came in a box. This meant I was going to have to do work. I was not pleased. I knew I would have to assemble it when I placed the order, but this did not lessen the blow. Some people enjoy the act of work. It can provide a sense of accomplishment and a fulfillment of duty. But what is "fulfillment" when all things decay? What is "accomplishment" when all things change? I was right to conclude that the act of work is a waste of time, yet being right did not give me a place to put my computer, so I got to work. The instructions were easy to follow. They were in pictures, which is perfect because I can't read. I listened to music to distract me from the pain of my efforts. It took about 30 minutes. It is very sturdy, has ample surface area, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with a gigantic comfy mousepad. Even though fulfillment is an illusion, I cannot deny that everything changed after that day. I see things as I have never seen them before. Colors are brighter. Food tastes better. My computer has a place to go. I know that contentment and happiness cannot last, but, at the same time, maybe this time will be different. Read more

Desk was easy to assemble. Make sure you have it on a big flat surface for assembly. Makes it easier to attach the frame to the 2 desk sections for a tight fit. All holes lined up and hardware fit. I did not use the chrome foot adjusters because my floor is level and I did not like the extra height the feet raised the desk. I am 6 foot and worry about stuff like ergonomics. Desk is comfortable. Fingerprints stick to the desk top. The large mouse pad helps with the fingerprints and hides the line created by the separate desk sections. The frame is sturdy. Does not shake or wobble. I added LED lights to kick it up a notch and also purchased a under desk cable rack to hide the cables. Great for the price! I would buy again. Read more
Right, so first off the box came slightly mishandled from FedEx but that is to be expected. Assembly was not too difficult but there are a lot of hexbit screws and some screws that dig into the wood (one of which stripped the wood but that could be on my part. They include a Phillips which is nice. The two pieces for the tabletop are tricky due to them being held together by only two plates, but the frame itself supports it well enough. The sad bit is that the cable holes and the covers are a bit too small for power cable ends to thread through, so I recommend at least not using the covers. The actual brand that makes them is Designa, not Eureka. After some careful twists and turns, the desk fit perfectly into the corner I designated in my small room (partly because I made sure dimensions were just right before purchasing). Luckily, the mouse mat that they include is pretty good at covering the tabletop intersections. Overall not a bad desk for the cost. Not for people who want something too extravagant. It’s okay IMO. The desk is easy to assemble if you can follow instructions. Tighten all the bolts well and you'll be good to go! The desk is plenty deep which was something important to us, plenty of space for work or projects. Our desks are set up as computer desks, Dual monitors mounted on arms that are attached to the back of the desks and the wood structure of the desk has no problem supporting them, the computer itself, and me when I use the desk as a prop when standing up. I’ve used this desk for over 2 years without any problems. Great build quality. Love having so much space. Never concerned about it bearing weight. Easy to separate into 2 pieces for easy moving. On my move this weekend I thought some pieces were lost and I reached out to the seller, they responded in under 24 hours ready to ship replacement parts. I found the pieces so did not need help, but it’s terrific to have good support available more than 2 years after purchase. Read more

Best gaming desk for the price! I like this desk because it's the only subtle "gaming" desk that I could find, it wasn't flashy whatsoever (other than the included mouse pad which I planned on replacing anyway) and it didn't have the carbon fiber top like some other desks have. The desk came prestine with no damage and the pieces from the top fit just right so it wasn't uneven. I ended up leaving the included mouse pad cause it grew on me once I had everything set up. I've had it for a month and will update my review as time goes on to say how it holds up. If you're looking for a gaming L shaped desk, this is the way to go no doubt about it! Read more
