Nice thing about these is they don't grab my skin the way many microfiber towels do. Often I can only comfortably use microfiber towels while wearing gloves. While I'm sure some will find even these uncomfortable, for me they just barely avoid discomfort. I think it's related to dry skin, as it doesn't bother some people at all, and changes seasonally. But now I'm feeling a little stumped trying to figure out the use case for these. My goto for something more than a paper towel is Wypeall X-80. A lint-free wipe that's durable enough to be washed a few times, cheap enough to pitch without worry (.10-.15 ea). Then I go up to rags, terry towels, or heavy duty microfiber cloths that last for hundreds of uses, if not more. These fit right in between, good for limited reuse, but not really inexpensive since they cost more than a basic shop rag, and you can get heavy duty cloths for not much more. I'm also not really sure about washing them. I wash microfiber cloths separately from other towels so they don't collect lint. If these start to break down after a few washes I'm not sure I want to wash them with the heavy duty microfiber cloths. But for all that, YMMV, and these may hit the sweet spot for you. Read more

These microfiber towels are great! I specifically wanted these to try out for washing and waxing my boat. I had to wait for better weather; these did not disappoint. Having a roll there to pull off as I needed was really a huge convenience. Wax builds up fairly quickly on a microfiber, and I used to have to bring a half dozen of them to make it through waxing and polishing the entire boat. These performed as well as the thicker cloth towels I usually bring, and bonus! I can wash and use them again! I'm going to try the washed ones for applying ipe oil stain on my deck. I won't be able to use them again, of course, but I can't use the cotton cloth rags I've used in the past over again, either. There are a lot of towels in the pack, and I expect to be purchasing another roll when these run out. I love the fact that I'm helping to keep paper out of landfill (even if it does break down - it's a space-saving thing) and using something that is convenient, performs well, and reusable is fantastic.
