After sitting in an uncomfortable “big person” chair for two days running a garage sale, the backs of my knees and my thighs were screaming at me. Found this chair, and although the price was higher than comparable chairs, I decided that “you get what you pay for” and made the purchase. I have yet to regret that decision. Yes, it’s bigger than the average camping chair, but at 6 foot three and 450 pounds, I’m bigger than the average camper. Where I had to squeeze between the arms of other chairs, I have lots of room here. And, the seat is higher than others - those who struggle to get up because your butt is below your knees with other chairs will appreciate that fact. Standing up is a breeze from this chair, and the seat is comfortable with good padding and no bars digging into the backs of your knees. The higher back also makes for a comfortable sit. Is it heavier to carry than other chairs? Not really. I can carry two of these to pretty much anywhere I need them easily. There’s a difference compared to regular folding chairs, but I’ve not found it be excessive like some other reviews imply. Make no mistake, this is a big chair, folded or unfolded - it’s more bulky compared to other chairs, which can lead to awkward carrying. Tip for folding: stand behind the chair, with the back against your chest. Grab the ends of the arms, and pull up and together. Once you get it started, the chair folds up rather easily. Very roomy. I can sit cross legged comfortably. It is also sturdy and has not tipped or wobbled with daily use. My neighbor who is over 6 feet and weighs about 280lbs said it feels comfortable and has a nice width. Very good value Read more
This chair is awesome! It’s Almost 3 inches taller (from ground to seat), making my knees bend naturally at hip level. I’m 6.0 ft and under 150 lbs, so it’s good for people of all size. It’s also higher in the back for nice support. Very comfortable and well made. Read more
Love this chair, worth the money. When opened the seat is quite solid and not saggy like other chairs. So easy to get in and out of as it is higher off the ground. Cup holder easily fits a large Stanley mug and is well made with a bonus that it swivels. Arm rests are also very sturdy and solid, the one negative about them is that a wider arm rest would be much more comfortable. Be for warned chair is heavy and stiff to open and close but this chair is do wide and comfortable that you can ignore the couple of small negatives. Would buy again in a heart beat. Read more
These are the best chairs that I have found to suit my needs as far as size and weight. I'm 6'3" 355 lbs and this chair holds me safely without having to worry about it collapsing like the cheap ones. Sturdy metal armrests make it easy to get up, but they could be wider but no biggie. The height of the chair makes it easy to stand without the struggle of those low ones! Folds out easily. Wide feet makes it good on uneven surfaces. Side pouch and cup holder a nice addition. For someone who has had back issues for a long time, this seat is great. The lumbar support works really well. Normally I wouldn't be able to sit for more than a few minutes in a foldable chair. It's also very roomy and easy to expand and collapse back down. The heat is an added bonus, but doesn't feel very warm to me. It's a little better after purchasing a higher output powerbank. Until I bought this I had to turn down so many opportunities to be outside either by myself or for gatherings. Being disabled is often isolating enough. This chair is as comfortable as you're gonna get. Plenty of room for me and nothing digging into my legs or hips. I can sit back and feel secure. The price is mostly fair in my opinion I am just broke all the time because being disabled is expensive but I had to buy this eventually for my mental health and I am happy I did. Read more
Love. Love. Love these so much! They are supportive and taller than most, to get out of easier! They come in carrier's with a longer handle, like carrying a dufflebag....we are elderly and felt they weren't too heavy for us! Everyone in our family loved these for Thanksgiving today, to have some extra chairs and sturdy and pretty comfortable. Our daughter has wood floors and I was amazing that these chairs have rubber feet, so no scratches on floors, they kind of glided across if someone moved them around on the floors a bit!
