These are amazing. Most other gauzes are 4-8 ply or less. We were using two 4 ply pads and doubling them up but these are so much nicer and exactly what we needed. My dog recently had surgery on his paw and it took a while for us to get all the dressing solutions just right. This really is a lifesaver. The 12 ply thickness is very absorbent but more importantly, it acts as a shock absorber and provides a nice barrier between his paw and the ground so he can walk better.
