Being an older woman, I'm in my comfort, quality, and value era, instead of expensive name brands when it comes to clothes. I had resorted to a standard looking granny panty because they were soft, comfortable, inexpensive, and lasted forever. Well almost forever. I lost some weight and realized I needed to replace them because they had become quite baggy. I had almost given up on finding something pretty that met my criteria, until I came across these. I liked the lace, feel, and quality straight out of the box! They are smooth and comfortable and they don't ride up or roll down. They aren't completely invisible under clothes. The seam where the lace meets the fabric is slightly visible, but not really noticeable under jeans. I do have a tip for washing. Use a mesh laundry bag! Anything with lace is going to catch on buttons, zippers, etc. I prelaundered mine and missed a pair when I threw them in the bag. I wash underwear and bras with regular loads of laundry so I don't have to do an extra gentle cycle load. However, they all go into a mesh bag to wash and dry (bras air dry). The pair of undies that I missed went through with a load that included a pair of my husband's shorts with velcro on the pockets. They were stuck to the shorts when they came out of the dryer and there ware a couple of areas with pulled threads and a small hole. The rest of them washed and dried beautifully in the bag. Totally my fault. The only minor issue I have with these panties is the sizing. I have worn a size 8, equivalent to an XL in underwear for the last 20 years. After a little weight loss, I went down a size in clothes so I was going to order a size L. Thank goodness I took a good long look at the size guide and read some reviews. I ended up ordering an XXL, and they fit perfectly. I'm so happy with them that I already ordered another pack in different colors! If you get both of the color assortment packs, you get one each of red, pale peach, mauve, light pink, light aqua, and black along with two navy, and two white pairs. I would definitely consider them a good value for the money but if they don't hold up to regular washing and wearing over time, I'll come back and update this review. Read more
